30. Call from New York

I sat on the bed with my hands on my stomach. Zach walked in and looked at me. "What are you doing?" He asked confused. "I am trying to feel the babies kick again." I said looking down at my stomach. "They may just be sleepy." Zach said sarcastically. "Ya your probably right." I said leaning against the dash board.

"I was just kidding love." He said getting into bed. "I still can't believe I felt them kick." I said pulling the covers over Zach and I. "I can your five months now. Your almost done." He said kissing me on the top of my head.

I laid my head on Zach's chest and slowly started to drift off to sleep.

Only 4 more months to go!

In the middle of the night the house phone started to ring. I rolled over and looked at the clock. It was 3:34am!

"Zach the phone." I said shaking him. Zach got up and answered the phone. "Quinto residents." Zach said groggy into the phone. I sat up and listened to the conversation.

"Yes.....What!.........Really........Ok.......Ya......huh.....huh.....got it......yes we will be there......ok....Thank you so much."

Zach hung up the phone and smiled at me. "Zach who was that?" I asked confused. "That was Broadway." He said with a smile. I looked at him shocked. "What did they say?" I said happily. "They want me to go out there next month to try out for a new play." Zach said excited.

"Babe this is amazing. I am so proud of you!" I said giving him a kiss. "They even told me that you can come." He said. "Really! I have never been to New York!" I said happily. "I know this is great news but its late and you need your sleep." Zach said laying me down.

As much as I wanted to argue with him he was right. I had work tomorrow and I need to get a good nights sleep but its hard to go to sleep when all I can think is.........................

I'm going to New York!

Ok so I know I told you there will be long chapters to come. What I meant to say was chapter 32 will be a long chapter. I promise. ✏😆
