43. Time to go

We drove to Monica and Minerva's place to drop off the kids. "Zach I am so nervous." I said fiddling with my hands. "I know you are but they will be fine." he said pulling up into the the parking. I grabbed the kids while Zach took their bags.

We walked up to their apartment and rang the door bell. A few seconds later Monica answered the door.

"Hey lil ones!" she said with a smile. The babies smiled and started to laugh. "Hey Monica where can I put their bags?" Zach asked walking into the house. "You can sit them near the couch Zach." Minerva said coming out of the back room.

"Ok so we will be back on Tuesday. If there is an emergency call my brother." Zach said. "Or call us I will be down here in a flash!" I said hugging my babies. I handed Joslyn to Zach and I kissed John goodbye.

"Bye mamas boy I love you." I handed John to Minerva.

"Bye Princess we will be back soon." Zach said as he handed Joslyn to Monica.

Both the babies waved bye. We were about to leave when something unexpected happened.

"Hey Minerva were did I leave my phone? My flight leaves in 40 minutes." Chris said walking into the room and froze. Zach and I looked at each other and smiled.

"Hey Zach and Layla. What are you guys doing here?" Chris asked embarrassed. "Dropping the kids off. What are you doing here?" Zach asked smiling. "Ya I did not even see your car?" I said sarcastically.

"Ok you two stop double teaming me! You know why I'm here!" he said trying to defend himself.

"Then tell me Chris why are you here?" Zach asked. "Ya Minerva why is Chris here?" I asked looking at the both of them.

"You know what I am gonna go take the twins to the guest room." Monica said taking John from Minerva and walking down the hall.

We both were still looking at Chris and Minerva. "Well um....Layla I love your shirt! It is very festive." Chris said pointing at my Star Trek shirt. "Shut up I know my shirt is cute!" I said straightening it out.

"What we really want to know is why you are here?" Zach added. Minerva and Chris looked at each other. "Well you two I asked Minerva if I could stay the night because I live so far away from the airport." Chris said trying to explaining. "So I let him stay the night since the airport is only 15 minutes away from here." Minerva said with a smile.

I looked at Zach. "Ok whatever we have to go. We are gonna be late." I said walking over to Minerva. "Come on Chris you can ride with us. I'll help you with your bags." Zach said taking one of Chris's bags. "Thanks man." Chris said walking outside with Zach.

I watched them as they walked out the door. When I was sure that they could not hear us I turned to Minerva. "So Minerva did you get some?" I asked with a smile. She smiled back at me. "Maybe." she said.

Zach's POV

I walked to the car with Chris behind me. I opened the trunk and put his bags in. "So Chris did you get some?" I asked curiously. "You know it!" he said with a smile. I shook my head and laughed at my friend.
