11. Moving on in

1 week later...

"Hey Layla where did you want me to put this box?" Zach asked me holding the box marked clothes. "You can put it in your room near the closet so I can hang them up later." I said arranging the dishes in the cabinets.

I am a month pregnant now and I have a little baby bump. Still not that noticeable.

Today is the last day of moving things from my apartment into his condo. I am glad all this moving is almost over. "Hey let me help you with that. Don't strain yourself." Zach said reaching the top shelf for me. "Am I gonna have to hear you being over protective everyday of this pregnancy." I said leaning against the counter.

"Yep and after the baby is born too." He said closing the cabinet. "Great well I can't wait for every second of it." I said smiling up at him. We were about to go hang up my clothes when two familiar faces walked into the house. "Knock knock Quinto resident." Minerva said walking into the kitchen along with Monica. "Hey it's nice to see you guys." Zach said.

"Nice to see you too. We got you guys a house warming gift." Monica said holding up a pink bag for me and a blue bag for Zach. We all sat down in the living room to open are gifts. I opened my bag and it had a blue baby blanket in it. It also had a diet plan book for pregnant woman. "Aww thank you guys! I love it!" I said putting the stuff back in the bag.

Zach opened his bag. It had a pink baby blanket in it and a book on how to deal with pregnant woman. "Ha thanks for the book." Zach said sarcastically. "And don't worry we have the receipt so when the baby is born you can give one of the blankets back." Monica said handing me the receipt.

"Thanks Monica we will need it when we have to return the pink blanket." I said smiling at Zach. "I think you got it mixed up Layla we will need it to send back the blue one." Zach said smiling down at me. "Well we will see in 3 months who is right." Minerva said.

"So are you two all settled into your new place?" Zach asked my two friends. "Yep we just got done moving yesterday what about you guys?" Monica asked looking at all the empty boxes everywhere. "We should be done today. We just got done putting up the kitchenware." I said looking back into the kitchen.

"Have you guys started to decorate the baby's room?" Minerva asked smiling. Zach and I looked at each other. "Actually, we have not even thought about it until now." I said thinking about it.

"Well we should not start to decorate until we know the gender. When the time comes the baby can have my office as a room. I can move my office to the garage." I nodded and smiled up at him. He has sacrificed so much for me and this baby. I will always be great full.

"Well we are gonna get going. Are you ready for work Tomorrow Layla." Minerva asked me getting up off the couch. "Ya it was a nice vacation while it lasted, but I have a client coming in tomorrow." I said seeing my friends out.

Zach told Minerva and Monica bye and then went to his office. I walked them to the door. "So does Zach have work tomorrow?" Monica said curious. "If you must know the truth Zach is shooting some of the last scenes of Star Trek:into the darkness tomorrow." I said with a smile.

"Look at you. You are in Heaven!" Minerva said laughing. I hugged my friends goodbye and watched them drive off. I locked the front door and went to go see what Zach was doing.

His office door was closed and I could hear him talking to someone. I cracked the door open and pecked my head in. Zach looked up at me from his computer and smiled. "Layla come here I want you to meet someone." Zach said motioning me to come.

I raised an eyebrow and walked over to his computer. Omg..OMG...OH MY GOSH! He is talking to Chris Pine! "Um....Hi! Your Chris Pine!" Chris just laughed and shook his head. "Yes I am it's nice to meet you Layla. Zach has told me a lot about you." Chris said with a smile. "Really! I am a big fan. I love your eyes." I said quickly. "Thank you. Also congrats on the baby."

"Oh thank you I did not know Zach told anyone?" I said looking at Zach. "Well you told your friends so I told my friends." He said looking up at me. "Um I will talk to you tomorrow Zach. It looks like you guys have a lot to talk about." Chris said logging off.

"Zach are we going public now?" I asked him. "Well everyone is gonna find out me and John broke. They are gonna want to know why." Zach said pointing at me. "Well we need to tell are parents and we need to tell them soon."

"Why?" Zach asked curiously. "Do you want your mom to hear that she is gonna be a grandma on the news or in the paper?" I said crossing my arms."Ya we should tell them as soon as possible!" Zach said thinking about what his mother would do to him.

"We could tell them this weekend because I have work this week and so do you." I said poking him in the shoulder. He nodded in agreement. We finished putting everything away and ate dinner. The whole time we talked about how we were going to tell our parents the good news.
