34. The Baby Shower

2 weeks later

Well today is the day of the baby shower. I got up and looked in my closet for the dress I was going to wear. It was a green maternity dress with a Loki cap. I am going to be Lady Loki.

I smiled as I put two gold butterflies in my hair. Cutest Lady Loki Ever!!!! I slipped on my black flats and walked into the living room. Minerva was coming to pick me up for the shower. I have no idea where it is going to be.

I heard a knock at the door and answered it. "Good day Reindeer games." Minerva said dress as Iron Man. "You look so cute Minerva!" I said with a smile. "Thanks I love your cape!" She said.

"Are you ready to go?" Minerva asked. "Ya I am ready." We walked to the car. Once we were in the car Minerva gave me a blind fold. "Put it on. Your destination is a surprise." I rolled my eyes and put the blind fold on.

40 minutes later

"Ok we are here but don't take the blind fold off yet." Minerva said as she got out of the car. I heard my car door open and Minerva helped me out. "Please don't run me into a wall." I told Minerva as she guided me into a building.

"Don't worry I won't." Minerva said. We walked for a few minutes before we made it to our destination. "Ok take the blind fold off." Minerva said. I took the blind fold off and my mouth dropped.

"Omg!"

The room had Marvel decorations everywhere. Each table had a super hero theme. One table was Iron Man. Another was Spider Man. There was even one for Loki! All the food was Marvel themed too. Minerva walked over to Monica (who was dressed as Black Widow.) and smiled.

"So do you like it?" Monica asked. I smiled and gave my friends a big hug. "I love it!" I said with a smile. "When are the guests coming?" I asked curiously. "People should be on there way." Minerva said.

As Minerva said people did start to come. My Mom, Zach's mom, My Grandma, and some other family members.

I even started to see my friends. I smiled when I saw Sophie walk in.

"Hey Sophie thanks for coming." I said hugging my friend. "I would not miss your baby shower for the world. Now where can I put these diapers for the contest?" Sophie asked. I pointed to a pile of diapers in the corner.

Monica told me that there is going to be a diaper contest. Who ever brings the most diapers wins the prize.

I smiled when I saw my close friend from high school walk in "Cat!" I yelled hugging my friend. "Layla! It is good to see you! I can't believe you are pregnant! Why didn't you call me!" Cat said. "Im sorry Cat I have been a little busy." I said pointing to my stomach.

She smiled at me. "Ya you were getting busy alright with Zachary Quinto!" She said with a laugh. "Ha whatever!" I said nudging her with my elbow. "So where can I put my present?" Cat asked. "You can put it on the Avengers table over there." I said with a smile.

"Cool." Cat said with a smile. "Did you bring any diapers?" I asked. "Ya they are in my car." Cat said with a smile. "Well are you gonna go get them?" I asked curiously. "There is to many of them for me to carry." Cat said. "Cat how many diapers did you bring!?" I asked her.

"Follow me." Cat said leaving the room. I followed her out of the building and into the parking lot. "See there is my truck." I looked at Cat's truck and my jaw dropped.

Her pick up truck was filled with diapers in the trunk. "Cat! How many packages of diapers did you buy a million!" I asked her in shock. "No! I only bought 250 packages of diapers. No big deal." Cat said. "Cat we will never ever have to buy diapers." I said with a laugh.

We walked back into the room. I asked Minerva for the microphone.

"Attention everyone Cat is the winner of the contest unless someone brought more than 250 packages of diapers." I said with a laugh.

1 hour later

The shower was going great. We played regular baby shower games with a Marvel twist to it. We ate cupcakes, sandwiches and some other great food. After I opened all my gifts Minerva announced that we were going to play one last game.

"Ok everyone we are going to play the last game of the day. As you all know Layla's favorite Marvel super villain is Loki. So we are going to play the "Who can sound more like Loki game" here is how it is going to work. Layla is going to sit in this chair blind folded and one by one you will come up to her and give her your best Loki!" Minerva said with a big smile.

I sat in the chair and put the blind fold on. "Ok Layla this is Loki #1." Minerva said. I nodded my head and smiled. Someone came up to me and mimicked Loki. "Um I am Loki." The person said with a laugh. The whole room started to laugh. "Ok thank you #1. Next up #2." Minerva said. I nodded. The next person came up to me. "I am the rightful king of Asgard!" The person yelled. I laughed and clapped my hands. "That was better than #1." I said aloud. Everyone laughed. "I think you will change your mind when you hear person #3." I nodded my head and smiled. The next person came up to me.

"I am Loki of Asgard and I am burden with glorious purpose." My jaw dropped. Omg! That was spot on Loki. "Layla why don't you take off your blind fold." Minerva said.

I took it off and Loki, THEE LOKI. Tom Hiddleston was standing in front of me in his Loki costume. He was smiling evilly at me. I put my hands over my mouth and laughed.

"Do I amuse you?" Loki asked me. "Loki, God of mischief! What are you doing here?" Minerva asked. "Silence you mewling quim!" Loki said pointing at Minerva.

"I was sent here by a Midgardian by the name Quinto. He tells me you are expecting 2 Midgardian children. Is that correct?" Loki asked. I nodded my head and smiled. "Yes that is correct. A boy and a girl." I told him. Everyone was watching and taking pictures.

"I hope they do not turn on each other like me and my so called brother Thor." Loki said. "Thank you. I wish the same." I said with a smile. "I see you have a table honoring The Avengers." Loki said walking over to the table. "Yes I do." I said following behind him. "Since you honor them so much I have a question for you." Loki said getting close to me. "Where are your Avengers now?" Everyone clapped and cheered.

"Ok Tom I think Layla has had enough. Anymore and I think she will faint." Monica said. Tom smiled at me and laughed. "So how did I do?" Tom asked. "You did great." I said smiling at him. "Congratulations on the babies." Tom said giving me a hug.

Omg Tom Hiddleston is hugging me!

"Thank you so much for coming." I said still hugging him. "Your welcome love but, you should thank Zachary. He is the one who set this up." Tom said.

I took a few pictures with him and he gave me his autograph. This has to be the best day of my life.

I feel like this was one of my best chapters I have ever written! I had a lot of imagination with it. I really like Tom Hiddleston so this was fun to write.
