32. Day in the big city

I woke up to the sound of honking cars. I opened my eyes and it was morning. I turned and saw Zach laying next to me. I smiled and messed with his hair.

"Zach, it's morning." I whispered. Zach opened his eyes and looked at me. "Good morning." He said sitting up to peak me on the cheek.

"So are you ready for auditions ." I said with a smile. He looked at me and smiled. "Well I actually auditioned last night that is why I got here so late." I looked at him confused. "So did you get the part?" I asked.

"No I will not know till after the babies are born." He said. "Man you are gonna be really bored sitting at home waiting for the results." I said sarcastically.

He grabbed my hands and looked down at them. "Um well once we get back home I will have to go on a world tour for the new Star Trek movie." I frowned. "Well how long are you going to be gone?" I asked.

"A month." I looked up at him trying to hold back the tears. "So you are going to miss my last ultrasound." I said choking on tears. "Hey don't cry I am a step ahead of you. I told Minerva to go with you and she will call me on video chat. Lets not think about this now. We are in New York, we have the rest of the trip to ourselves." He said giving me a kiss.

"Ya you are right." I said wiping my eyes. "We can talk about it when the time comes." I said getting up and walking to the bathroom. I smiled and turned to Zach in the doorway.

"Shower?" I said raising my eyebrow. Zach looked at me and smiled. "Shower." He said getting up to join me.

1 hour later

After Zach and I got dressed we went out to a diner to eat breakfast. Then we went to a baby store and bought some clothes. We were walking back to the hotel when I saw a bridal store.

I saw a beautiful wedding dress in the window. I stopped and looked at the gown. Zach noticed I had stopped and came back to see what I was looking at.

He came up behind me. "It's beautiful." I whispered to myself. I felt Zach wrap his arms around me. "You like this dress?" He asked.

"Like it! I love it this is my dream dress." I turned to Zach and put his hands in mine. "I have been planning my wedding since I was 7 years old." I said thinking about how I actually planned my wedding with Zach and now here I am years later pregnant with his children.

I started to get teary eyed. Zach looked down at me. "Layla why are you crying?" He said stroking my cheek. I looked up at him and smiled. "No don't worry. They are happy tears." I said laughing.

"Why are you happy? Is it the hormones?" He said worried that he would get snapped on. I put my hand on his cheek. "No it's not the hormones that make me happy." I said with a smile.

"Then why are you so happy?" He asked. "I am happy that you are in my life." I said before he kissed me.

I told you guys I would post a new chapter Saturday so here it is! I am going to try to post as many chapters a possible till next Friday because I will be on a trip next Friday and I will not have wifi for a whole week!😖

So I am going to be posting like crazy and don't worry I will take my time and check my spelling so the chapters can be great! I am going to post another chapter today so look out for it.
