26. The call

2 weeks later

I sat in Zach's lap while we looked at cribs on his computer in his office. "So what color are we going to paint this room?" I said looking around his office. The walls were all ready white so it will not be difficult to paint. "Well since they are sharing a room it can't just be all boy colors or all girl colors." Zach said scrolling through the cribs.

"It could be a light brown room with blue dots." I said with a smile. Zach nodded his head. "No that to boyish, how about a ocean theme." He said with a smile. I shook my head no.

"Wait I got it! A jungle theme!" I said looking at Zach. He nodded and smiled. "I love that idea! We can paint the walls green, and there can be different animals." Zach said with a smile.

"We can make the cribs look like bushes. John's crib can have blue flowers and Joslyn's crib can have pink flowers!" I said throwing out ideas. "Two great minds think alike."

I gave Zach a high five and we both laughed. A few minutes later the phone rang. Zach picked up the phone.

It was probably a business call so I left his office and went to the bathroom.

When I came back Zach looked stressed out. "Zach are you ok?" I asked him. He looked up at me and put his face in his hand. "No."

I walked over to him and sat in his lap.

"Who was on the phone?" I asked curious. "That was the director of American Horror Story. They told me that I will not be coming back in season 3." I looked at him confused. "Im sorry to hear that Zach. So what does this mean?" He put his hand on my stomach and sighed.

"It means that I am out of an acting job." He said looking down. I wish I could feel more worried but, I am really not. I am sad that Zach is sad but, I make good money. I can pay the bills by myself for a while until he finds another acting job. I would never tell him that though. Its a mans job to provide for the family. I have a feeling that he is afraid he can't provide for me or the babies.

"So what are you going to do babe?" I asked. "Well I will have to go to auditions and see who will want me." He said disappointed. I pointed his chin up to look at me.

"Hey you are an amazing actor! After the new Star Trek movie comes out everyone is going to want you Mr.Quinto." I said and kissed him on the noes. "Don't worry. I believe in you." I said with a smile.

"Thank you. You really think I am a good actor?" Zach said sarcastically. "Yes you are a good actor. In Margin Call though...." I said with a laugh.

"Whatever that was a good movie!" He said with a smile. "Whatever you say dear." I said getting off of Zach's lap. "You were just to young to understand the movie." He yelled from his computer. "If that makes you feel better than ok." I said walking out of his office to start dinner.

3 hours later

I was stirring the soup over the stove when Zach walked in. He came behind me and wrapped his arms around me. "Soup smells good." He said putting his head on my shoulder. "Thank you it's almost ready." I said with a smile.

"Layla I wanted to tell you something." He said. "Shoot." I said with a smile.

"Well the premiere for Into Darkness is in 2 weeks...." "And you wanted to tell me a head of time. Ok I can have Minerva and Monica come over that night so I won't be alone." I said reassuringly.

"Well actually I wanted you to come with me." He said with a smile. I looked up from the soup and turned around to face him. "But there will be paparazzi there." I said confused. He nodded his head and smiled. "I know. Layla I think it's time that we make this relationship official. I am tired of hiding and not being able to take you anywhere because of the press." He said wrapping his arms around my waste.

I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Are you sure?" I asked trying not to cry. "I have never been more sure about anything in my life." He said with a smile. A tear slid down my face.

"Only if you are ready..." He said wiping my tear away. I looked up at him and nodded. "Ya of course I'm ready." I said while Zach embraced me in a hug.

"We are in this together forever and ever." I said happily.

I know that last part was cheesy but I just had to do it. If you you have never seen Margin Call you should watch it. Personally I did not understand it and every other word was the F word. The only reason I watched it is because Zachary Quinto was in it. I think he did great but I did not like the movie much. Also I don't think Zachary is going to be in the Third season of American Horror Story. Personally I did not watch it while he was in it because I am a scary cat. 😛
