61. The Beginning

Zach and I walked back to the hotel and waited outside the reception hall. Everyone was already inside we were just waiting for Monica and Joe to introduce us.

"So how are you feeling Mrs.Quinto?" Zach asked me. "Thrilled. Overjoyed. Excited." I said looking up at him. He looked down at me and smiled. "I wanted to tell you this at the alter..." he said wrapping his arms around my waist.

"You look so beautiful." he said. I wrapped my arms around his neck. "And you look very handsome and I love you." I said about to kiss him when the door opened.

"Layla Zach, they are about to call you in." Minerva said. Zach sighed. I smiled and stood on my toes. "Don't worry I will show you just how much I love you tonight." I whispered into his ear.

We walked over to the door when we heard them call are names. We walked in arm and arm. Everyone stood up and clapped. Zach spun me around and then kissed me on the top of my head.

We walked over to Joe and Monica. "Ok now it is time for Zach's last dance with his mom." Monica said into the microphone. "Mom get out onto the dance floor." Joe said with a smile.

Zach smiled and walked over to his mother. The music started and they started to dance. I smiled watching Zach dance with his mom. I saw his mom say something to Zach and Zach nodded and smiled. The music stopped and everyone clapped.

Zach and his mom walked over to me. "Thank you for making my son happy." she said giving me a hug. "Your welcome." I said before she walked back to her seat.

"Ok now it is time for Layla's last dance with her father." Joe said. I walked over to my dad and smiled. The music started and we started to dance. I looked up at my dad.

"You know you will always be my lil girl right?" he asked me. I smiled "Ya of course always." I said laying my head down on his chest. The music stopped and everyone clapped. My dad walked me over to Zach.

I gave my dad a kiss on the cheek before he left. "Now the moment we have all been waiting for.... Zach and Layla's first dance!" Monica said. Zach took my hand and lead me to the dance floor.

The song Young and Beautiful by Lana Del Ray started to play. Zach and I started to dance. We just looked into each others eyes. It felt like we were the only two in the room.

"You are so beautiful." Zach said.

"I love you so much." I said.

When the music stopped everyone clapped and cheered. "Ok everyone it is time for the speeches. Does anyone want to say something on be half of the newlywed couple." Monica said with a smile as Zach and I sat down.

Chris walked over to get the mic.

"Finally you two are married! It took you long enough to propose Zach." Chris said jokingly. Everyone laughed.

"But seriously I am really happy for you man. I wish the best for you. Cheers to the happy couple!" Chris said raising his glass.

Everyone touched glass and drank their wine.

The next person to come up was JJ.

"I remember when you brought Layla to the set one day. I could tell that she was something special just by the way you looked at her. I hope you two have a great life together." JJ said raising his glass. We smiled and thanked him.

Next was my friend Jerry.

"I just want to say... Layla aren't you glad you came with me to that bar?" he said with a smile. I laughed and buried my face in Zach's arm. "Your welcome." Jerry said with a laugh before he sat down.

Many other people came and gave us advice and luck. "Ok now it is time to cut the cake." Joe announced. Zach and I got up and walked over to the cake.

I felt someone tug on my dress and I looked down. The twins were staring up at me. I smiled and lifted John up on my hip and Zach picked up Joslyn.

Chris handed Zach the knife and Zach and I cut it together. I feed Zach some cake and he fed me some cake. We gave the twins baby forks so they could try the cake.

We put cake on each fork and gave it to the twins. I turned and talked to Zach and then I felt cake being smudged on my cheek!

I turned back to John and he put the fork to my mouth. I laughed and let him feed me the cake that was not already on my cheek. Everyone laughed and Chris took a picture.

Zach was dying as he handed me a napkin. I smiled and put some frosting on my fingers and rubbed it on Zach's cheek. Joslyn and John laughed.

After we were done eating. Everyone started to mingle. People were on the dance floor dancing and talking and laughing.

"Time to toss the bouquet ladies!!!! Men evacuate the dance floor!" Monica said with a smile as the song Single Ladies by Beyoncé started to play.

I stood in front of the crowd of woman and tossed the bouquet. I heard a squeal and turned around.

Minerva caught it!

We all smiled and clapped.

"Ok guys it is time for Zach to take off Layla's garter!" Joe announced.

The song Sexy back by Justin Timberlake started to play. I sat down on a chair in the middle of the floor. Zach walked up to me with a smile.

I was so embarrassed. I laughed and covered my face. Zach lifted up my dress and tickled my thigh on purpose. I jumped and started to laugh. Zach took off my garter and swung it around on his finger.

I shook my head and returned back to my seat. Zach threw my garter and Chris caught it. Everyone cheered and Chris looked at the garter.

"Really Layla! A Star Trek garter." he yelled across the room. I laughed and shrugged my shoulders.

Everyone danced and had a great time. It was almost time to leave so I made one last announcement.

"I just want to thank everyone for coming. This is one of the best days if our lives and I am glad that you could share in our excitement. It has been a crazy ride but all of you have been there for us in one way or another." I looked at Zach and smiled.

"Honestly a lot of you don't know how Zach and I met but, I will remember for the rest of my life how this man came into my life." I said remembering how it all happened.

Flashback

It has been three hours since we got here and I did not see Jerry anywhere. This is just great. "Hey are you here alone?" I turned in my chair and saw Zachary Quinto smiling down at me. I smiled.

Flashback over

"Honestly I can't wait to start my new life as Layla Quinto. I can't wait to start my life with my husband and our two beautiful children and I hope that you will all continue to be there for us as you have all this time." I said with a smile.

"Thank you."
