The Dawn of Tomorrow [PAUSE]

Chapter 2

I stop on track when I see the reception calling luxury, all gold and white with 8 elevators, one of them was written PRIVATE .

Marissa greeted some staff and went toward the elevator written PRIVATE. She said that only the maids and members of the Powers family could take the exclusive elevator.

We enter into the most beautiful spacious penthouse I've ever seen.  It's one of the most beautiful apartment I've ever seen. Every colour and design were not to be miss.

A guy in his late forties appeared. His clear bleu eyes were hypnotizing. He is in a black expensive suit like he was a boss. Well he is. He gives us a sign to follow him while he's on his phone. Marissa gave us a wave goodbye and went in a total opposite way. Mama and I enter a huge neat office and await for the man to accord us permission to sit while I was still stunned.

The man end his call, gives us a sign to sit.

"I am Marshall Powers and you must be Isabella and your mother Maguarita? if I recall correctly?" He set his phone to his desk.

"Yes" my mother and I replied in unison.

He nod.

"Marissa has spoke to me about you a lot and I trust her, I've also seen you're curriculum vitae and it would be my pleasure for you to work here as maids. You're starting tomorrow at 8h30. I am sorry but I will have to dismiss this little discussion, I have an important meeting to attend"

We both nod and he was gone. That's it? Nothing, this is one of the most easiest interview ever. Tía Marissa is in the room with a huge smile on her face, she walk towards us as we get up.

"I told you it be really easy... New beginning, new life now go rest tomorrow is going to be really busy." she amended giving both an hug.

It's true, this is going to be a new start without the devils himself, a new beginning for my life and future. I could only smile in response.

Next day

I wake up at 7am, brushed my teeth, took a shower, ate breakfast. I'm currently in the maid department, dressed in a long black dress and black ballerina.
