I hear pans and pots clinging together coming from the kitchen. I roll out the bed and grumbling some words I sure won't say in front of my mom.

"Danm it mama. Why? "

I put my sapatos and robe to wrap from my shivering to brace myself from the cold. I come in the kitchen, I see her back side, she gives me a look and turn back to what ever she was doing. I sit and play with the synthetic flowers and fruits and the white lace table nape.

"Buenos dias mama."

"Habla" she say with bitterness

"Huh que?"

"When you drag your words, you want somethings. Now talk."

Of course she knew where I was going, I never knew how to bring the subject on the table. Just this one is going to gave her a reason to yell at me.

"Mama... Mr. Powers want me. No needs me to assist Isaac."

"Okay, continue."

"To Japan." I wait till she reacts.

"Isabella, where?" I bite my lips for the anticipation of her wrath.

"To Japan." I stuttered.

"I heard you!" She drops the pan on the floor and puts her hands on her hips. Looks directly at me with a furious expression written all over her face. "Isabella Porqué? I thought it was only here only."

"It was unexpected, it was just decided by Mr. Powers even Isaac didn't agree with him but I couldn't go against him. Mama please it's three days only."

"Three days?"

"Sì." I answer quickly.

"Okay."

"What? Okay just like that."

"Hmm." She nods and turn her back." This is the last time I have to hear you leaving this country?"

"Go do the laundry, the machine is broken." She say.

"Okay I'll do them." I obey so quickly because I don't want to make her any mad that she is right now. I head directly to the bathroom and grab the basket filled with dirty clothes. I spread them on the floor and began the process of separating the white from the colour. I heard the bell ring and peek my head out the door.

"Quein es?" I shout to my mom.

"Marissa!"

Marissa? it's been a while I haven't seen her. What brings her here on a Saturday morning. A few minutes pass before I hear the door open.

"Hola Maguarita como esta?" Marissa voices greets my mom.

"Muy bien." My mom respond.

"Aay what wrong?"
