Chapter 2: "It's you...."

I woke up with the sun shining into my eyes through my window. I rubbed my eyes and sat up. "Ah... Saturday morning." I got up and walked out of my room. "Good morning mom!"
"Goodmorning sweetheart! I have great news!" My mom ran over and hugged me tightly. "Whoa what is it?"
"Jason isn't in this area anymore! He's headed out of town!" I gasped and covered my mouth. I was relieved. I smiled and walked over into the living room, sitting myself on the couch. "Oh, and Lisa wants you to go to the mall with her today. Start getting ready sweetheart" I groaned and got up. "Sure, tell me at the last minute..."

I walked back into my room and started getting ready. I threw on a pair of jeans with a t-shirt and a jacket. I put my hair up in a neat ponytail and put on some make-up. I put on my converse and grabbed my phone. I walked back into the living room. "Lisa's coming at 11" Mom said. I looked up at our clock. "10:45. 15
more minutes." I sighed and watched some tv waiting for Lisa to arrive. 15 minutes passed by quickly, I heard a car horn sound outside of the house. I got up and went outside. "Bye Mom!"
"Bye sweetheart have fun!"
I waved at my mom while walking out to the car. I got in.

"Hey Jess! Still scared?"
"Nope! Jason's not in this area anymore!"
"Pfft! yeah right!" Lisa's mom looked at both of us. "Well even if he still is, I'll keep both you girls safe." I felt my fear rising again. "Wouldn't it be so cool if Jason was at the mall?!"
"IM SO SICK OF YOU TALKING ABOUT JASON! HE ISN'T IN THE AREA ANYMORE!"
"But Jess, you never really know... I'm just saying!"
"Fine, you go ahead and get killed..." Suddenly, all the fear I felt was back. What if Jason was still here? What if it was all lies saying he was gone?

"Come on girls, no fighting!" I sighed and ignored Lisa for the rest of the drive. Once we got to the mall, hardly anyone was there. Hardly any cars were there. I got out and looked around. Lisa and her mom headed for the front doors. I followed behind them. I walked inside and all I saw were a heap of security guards. "Ha! you sure Jason's gone Jess?"
"Maybe they're just double checking..." I started shaking.
"Loosen up Jess! Nothing's gonna happen!" I was scared. I wanted to go home. I followed Lisa and her mom into a store. We were looking around, until suddenly I heard a gun shot, followed by a scream. I panicked and covered my mouth. "LISA!!" Lisa ran towards me. "GIRLS IT'S OKAY STAY CALM." Lisa's mom wrapped her arms around us. I couldn't help but cry. "Hey Jess, I bet it's Jason..."
"SHUT THE HELL UP LISA JUST SHUT UP!"
"Girls shhhhhh!!"

I watched as all the security ran down to one end of the mall. I saw Lisa's mom look at the front doors. "Come on girls!" Lisa's mom grabbed me and Lisa, running towards the front doors. Suddenly, Something grabbed me, knocking me to the ground and holding me down. "JESS!!" Lisa started running back for me, but then I saw a gun being pointed at her. "NO DON'T HURT HER PLEASE!!" I screamed. Lisa stood there looking at the gun being pointed at her. "LISA GO!!" I looked up at the guy who was holding me down. He picked me up.

"Hello babe, how are you today?"
"LET GO OF ME!!!" He covered my mouth. He pointed the gun at both Lisa and her mom. "You two better leave, or you'll both be getting bullets through your heads!" Lisa looked at me. "JUST GO LISA GO!" Lisa's mom grabbed her and they ran out the door into their car. I looked at the guy who was holding me. He had his gun pointed to my head. "Now you're gonna be a good girl and come with me!" He dragged me out the front and threw me into the back of a maroon van. "LET ME OUT!!" I banged and screamed on the doors. I felt the van drive off and I fell back. I curled up into a corner and cried. I was scared. No, I was beyond scared. What was gonna happen to me...

After a long trip, I saw the van doors open. I felt a man grab me. I tried to fight him off, but he pointed his gun at me, yet again. I had no choice but to follow him. He walked me up to a house, which I assumed was a hide-out. He walked me inside and threw me into a dark, cold room closing and locking the door behind him. "NO PLEASE LET ME OUT!! PLEASE!!" I screamed and bashed on the door. "LET ME OUT LET ME OUT LET ME OUT!!!" After a few minutes of screaming at the top of my lungs, I gave up. I walked over to a bed, curling up and cried my eyes out. Suddenly, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out. It was a text from my mom saying: "It's gonna be okay sweetheart! Lisa's mom is here and she told me everything. Just try your best and stay strong! No matter what, we're gonna find you and get you home." I wiped the tears from my eyes and went to text back, but suddenly I heard the door open. I look in the doorway. My jaw dropped and I let out a gasp.

"Hey babe."
"It's you........" I couldn't believe it was him.
"Of course it's me." It was Jason. Jason McCann.
"Wh.....what do you wa....want from me...." My voice was shaking and I put my back up against the wall. He came closer. "I just figured well... I get kinda lonely while I'm doing bad stuff and... I do need a slave too" He sat on the edge of the bed, giving me a smirk. "Scared?" He giggled. He grabbed my phone from my hands and read my moms text. "Awwwwww mommy misses you!" He threw my phone on the ground and stomped on it. I gasped and covered my mouth. "MY PHONE!!" I picked up the remaining pieces of my phone. I started crying. "YOU ASS!!"
"Whoooaaaa! Calm down babe! you won't be needing it while you're with me anyway!" He laughed. "I'll see you tonight babe. You stay here for now."
"YOU'RE JUST GONNA LEAVE ME IN HERE?!" Tears were streaming down my face. Jason gave me a look of anger and grabbed me by the neck, causing me to choke. His face came close to mine and he looked me straight in the eyes.

"Listen here, babe. YOU do what I SAY. Or you will die. YOU answer to ME. Like it or not, YOU'RE STAYING HERE!" He pushed me, causing me to fall flat on my back on the floor. He walked out, slamming and locking the door behind him. I laid there, tears were streaming down my face. I was scared for my life. I just wanted to go home...
