Ten more years completed. ....sorry nine years eleven months and twenty days have completed since she started writing her diary. If it was something wonderful she would have planned to enjoy it but she knows that staying from everyone doesn't save them much. She got to know the bitter truth five years back.

A boy from her college came to her room on her birthday to propose her. Who can expect that? Naturally Samyuktha pleaded him to leave her alone. She told him what happened when somebody get close to her that day but the stupid boy did not listen to her. He proposed her.....made her uncomfortable to a point that she said okay not understanding what she was speaking. The boy kissed on her cheeks and hugged her tightly. Samyuktha did not understand a single thing what he was doing or saying to her.

He left after few hours before sunlight hit her windows. She was confused at first but thinking about the whole scene repeatedly she realised what she said to him....why he spoke to her so sweetly.....then the implications of it had scared her.
But what more frightened her was she could hear someone scolding for allowing a boy to come to her room and being so intimate with him. The old scary woman voice added more support about the unfortunate boy's unfortunate ending life.

The voice echoed from everywhere that it seemed no one was in the room. Yet she can still feel the woman in her room....behind the mirror as usual with her black hair touching her waist. It would have been real if samyuktha had seen her face or at least those fingers or anything else. It's presence only gave her strong feeling that it is some kind of representative of her curse. It never seized to be on time or take lives on time. Even the evil has discipline!

The news of his very unlucky death reached her the next day. Only his friends had known of his plan and they do know about her secret. His death made his friends believe she is a witch and she became popular the whole college as a witch. Luckily her friends supported her. It is the only thing which did not broke her till now but she felt her heart break on knowing her marriage is set with out asking her about it. She is really infuriated by her father for taking his own decisions. It is her life afterall....

"Dad I will not marry him!"

"You will marry whomever I asked to marry" her father gopal passed the ultimatum. He never said or did anything to hurt his daughter. he recently got to know she has a stalker. He tried to find the stalker but it was of no use. And he had to get his daughter married. So he decided to fix her marriage with his partner, suresh's only son arjun.

Gopal felt happy to meet Arjun. He has a good opinion on arjun and he does look handsome. He saw nothing bad against arjun. So he decided to show his photo to Samyuktha. She didn't even look at the photo. Only she glared at her father for few minutes and left to her room. He wanted to scold her for her behaviour but he never raised his voice on her at any time. He knew behind that fury she must be frightened about her marriage. He thought he spoke to her too early on this issue. Sadly the wedding is in just two months and he has to speak with her. He wanted to prepare her somehow. He doesn't know how.

Arjun is just twenty three now. He thought he is getting married too early but his father is not changing his mind nor his mother wants to postpone the wedding. The date got fixed which to his bad luck is in two months. What can he do? He doesn't even know the girl. He is so much angry on his life that he did not ask about who he is getting married to or even see her. Personally or in the photo. The girl's father only said she is too happy about the marriage and likes to meet him soon.

He already felt his life is lost. And added to this, his friend mohit wants him to introduce his fiancee on his reception. He got married but it happened only because mohit eloped with his girlfriend nandini. Their parents found them after a week and promised to get them married. So they got married.

There is no reason for arjun to get married so suddenly. Though he looks okay now, he was a fat boy with big spectacles that no girl recognised him in his college. So he never bothered to have a girlfriend. After getting out of college first he did was concentrate on his weight. After he got thin, he has undergone laser treatment and thrown his glasses. Not for attracting a girl but he felt depressed when nobody acknowledged his presence in his college. It was like he never existed. He is now opposite to it. Even the girls started flirting with him but he knows this is just fake.

Now he will get married. That's okay. He would have been happy if they asked opinion first. He started to feel like his parents are also not recognising him as an independent person but a property and this alliance is to make his wealth permanent so that it will not get divided. What a stupid plan it is!

Arjun wouldn't have asked his future father in law's permission if the reception is nearby and it will not take long time. Unfortunately the reception is arranged far away from the city. And it won't be nice taking their daughter without asking. He doesn't want to commit the same mistake his parents have done. His father in law has happily said okay but was shocked when arjun told the date. He did not think about them superstitious. At that moment though, he felt them so.

After thinking for a while, his father in law agreed to send his daughter but she has to be in her house by 11 'o clock. Arjun suddenly remembered Cinderella story. He later thought stupid of himself. His fiancee is not Cinderella even if he heard a lot of times that she is cute. He forgot everything and got busy with his work.
