59. freedom

Samyuktha walked towards the building pushing her friends. They caught her to stop her from running towards the building.

"They are dying!" Samyuktha screamed. Rishi got up from the rock hearing her screams.

Alex, danush and other constables went to the back building. Samyuktha tried to free herself but stopped when sonia appeared in front of them.

"Thank you sam for freeing me" sonia said. The eleven year old soul hugged samyuktha. Samyuktha hugged back.

Then they saw sonia's soul disintegrating. The golden pieces got mixed into the air. Then the doctor who died on her birthday stood in front of her.

"Thank you" dr. Harish said to the three girls. His soul too got disintegrated.

Like that many souls thanked the girls. All of the souls appeared normal when they came to the girls. They had happy smiles. Almost everyone appeared.

Rishi stared at his brother with teary eyes. Rohan wiped his tears away. But they flowed freely.

"Take care brother" rohan said.

"Don't go!" Rishi asked him.

"I have to brother. Father is waiting for me" rohan said. They father died recently and nobody knows it. Rishi stopped talking with others when rohan died. So he said to nobody about his father's death.

"Please" rishi cried.

"I have been here for long time. I should go bro. Take care of yourself" rohan said pointing to his hopping leg. Rishi looked down. Danush pushed him onto the ground. It got twisted during the collision. The paramedics used muscle relaxants and gave him pain killers.

He looked up and saw his brother getting disintegrated. He cried but his brother disappeared too soon. He cried after many years. His anguish came out as tears. His cries made him slip on the ground. It resonated in his chest.

Alex and his team along with danush screamed for the three friends. Sampath and mohit came out but arjun did not come out. Instead he went inside.

Arjun went into the dining room and saw his sister. He stopped suddenly. Pooja walked towards him. He saw her tears.

"Don't cry. My sister never cries" arjun said wiping her tears.

"Teddy bear never cries" Pooja said wiping his tears. She saw him getting emotional. She too cried with him. Cried for being successful. Cried because she could cry after many days.

"I thought I can never cry again....thank you teddy bear" Pooja told him.

Arjun saw his father bringing a dead body out. It was covered in ice but not stored in ice. Suresh throwed it onto his burning sister's body. Arjun looked at him with puzzled face.

"It is nandana's. He kept it inside the freezer" Pooja told him. She had given the key to suresh and warned him to open the freezer and get the body out.

Soon they saw nandana's soul. She thanked them. Prithvi's soul too appeared. He held nandana's hand and saw them disintegrating into the air. Arjun turned to his sister.

"I have fulfilled my promise arjun. Vinamra will never haunt samyuktha. She will never intervene you both" Pooja said with a smile. Arjun saw her soul shining. He understood she is leaving.

"No!"

"Bye teddy. Take care of my best friend" Pooja said. Arjun caught her hands and shook his head. Pooja smiled at him.

She caressed his left cheek. Arjun saw her soul breaking into the shape of butterflies. They shone in light blue colour. The butterflies flied from her hair and her back. Arjun held her tightly but felt her skin breaking into the soft butterflies.
