46. falling down

Arjun feared his hands will die because sampath tied his hands too tightly. There is no chance of getting his hands out of the ties sampath made. He stared at sampath who was marching in front of him.

"Left right left. Left right left...." sampath walked for few times and stood straight imagining to get award from president to keep arjun from escaping.

"Do you want chocolate?" Arjun asked him. Sampath turned towards him.

"You can't fool me uncle. Mama said you have no chocolate" sampath told him. Arjun's jaw dropped when the ghost in his friend called him uncle.

"What if I give you one?" Arjun asked him. All his plan is when sampath unties him, he would knock out his possessed friend.

"Give me" sampath said stretching his hands.

"My hands are tied" Arjun said. Sampath came and opened only one hand. Sampath stared at him with big eyes and innocent face that Arjun could not dare to hurt him. Instead he searched his pocket and took out the crushed chocolate. He got sad but sampath grabbed it and ate it happily.

"Nice uncle" sampath said showing his teeth coated with chocolate. Arjun thanked danush who kept his chocolate into Arjun's since his friend feared jyothsna would grab it. Arjun slowly untied his other hand and took breath. His hands were red but they are still functional.

"Kavya hide. Pavan is coming" a man in his mid fouties came running. He stopped suddenly and Arjun doubted him.

"Kavya! This is not hiding! Pavan doesn't like hiding inside uncles" the man said. Kavya seperated herself and Arjun felt shocked to see it is an old woman. The old woman called him uncle!

"Bye uncle" the old woman of name kavya left. Sampath who fell on the ground slowly raised holding his head with two hands.

"Are you alright sampu?" Arjun asked him.

"I have told you thousand times not to call me with that name!" Sampath scolded his friend. Chuckling Arjun helped his friend to get up.

"My head is hurting like somebody had hit me hardly and my mouth tastes chocolaty!" sampath told him.

"Because you ate danush chocolate"

"Never heard any chocolate with that brand" sampath said licking his teeth.

"How badly hurt I was to eat like this" sampath muttered. Arjun told him what exactly happened.

"An old woman called you uncle!" Sampath laughed. Arjun glared at him. Sampath continued to laugh but stopped when they heard a girl laughing with them. Both the friends stared at each other.

"Shall we play a game? Who catches me is the winner" the girl said. Arjun and sampath realised it is vinamra. They became alert and ran towards the voice.

Following her laughter, they entered fourth floor. They looked around and saw lights flickering again.

"You can't catch me with a chocolate" she said and giggled. Both friends looked around but did not see her.

"You can't catch me saying mama hates it" the girl told them. They did not understand what she means.

"You just can't come here and disturb me! You can't separate us! He's mine. He's all mine!" Vinamra yelled. Then suddenly the lights fell on them. They dogged every crashing light but it became hard to see through dark.

"You can't change my plan!" Vinamra yelled and the grills at the windows fell on them. They got up and saw vinamra through the moonlight.

"Let's continue the game but who will save samyuktha is the winner" Vinamra said frightening the boys. They did not miss the smirk on her face.
