47. saved

Samyuktha fell on the mesh (umm...don't know what it is called but I saw them using when people fall from tall buildings. Especially during fire accidents and the person jumps from the windows) holded by seven men. When she fell down, arjun went closer to the edge. He looked down but his feet slipped. Luckily sampath and danush caught him in time.

"Samyuktha is saved" sampath told him.

"Not yet!" Arjun said and ran down. As he and his friends got down with hopping disha, he called the ambulance and gave the address.

Jagadish checked her pulse and it was not much palpable. He slowly lifted her from the ground and walked towards his car. Alex feared she died and did not rush knowing too well jagadish will break down. Jyothsna and smrithi stared at their friend and cried silently.

He placed her in the car and closed the door. Gopal got down just then and saw jagadish placing his daughter in the police car.

"How is she?" Gopal asked him.

"Forget about her" jagadish told him. Gopal slipped onto the ground.  Jyothsna and smrithi ran towards him.

"Uncle!" They both hugged him and sobbed breaking his heart. He was already in shock and samyuktha's death numbed his mind. He only heard ringing sound in his ears and the world moving around him but nothing else.

"Uncle!" Jyothsna screamed seeing blood flowing on his face. But gopal did not hear her. He did not hear anything or see anything.

As people were worried of gopal now, an ambulance came. They quickly got him in the ambulance. Jagadish ordered alex and others to follow the ambulance. Jyothsna and smrithi got in the ambulance and seven constables got in alex's car. Others stood near jagadish but he yelled at them saying they should go after alex car. Obeying his orders, other four left in the jeep. There are two more cars parked but jagadish walked towards his car.

Arjun reached the ground and came out. He saw jagadish walking towards the police car. Arjun shouted his name.

"Which hospital she was taken to?" Arjun asked him.

"She's dead" jagadish informed him. His friends stared at him in shock.

"I thought to take her body to her home" jagadish said.

"Where are others? " sampath asked in doubt.

"Gopal is not well. I have got him in ambulance and others followed it" jagadish told them. Sampath and danush did not feel right.

"Where's her body?" Arjun asked him.

"In the car" jagadish answered. Arjun walked towards the car. Jagadish did not interfere with him. He walked towards the car and saw through the Window. Jagadish turned to his friends.

"Don't tell her mother she died. She's not in good condition. Even I don't think....hey!" Jagadish yelled when arjun drove the car. All the three ran to other two cars. Danush stopped realising disha is still in the building.

"I will come in other car" danush told sampath.

Sampath yelled at his friend who is running towards the building.

"We have no time. We have to catch arjun" jagadish told him. Sampath argued with him but jagadish hit him in nose and sampath fell down from the car. Jagadish sat in driver's seat and drove the car.

Danush saw disha in third floor with a young boy. The boy scared him at first but saw him applying ointment to her feet which got swollen. He lifted her after the boy finished applying.
