Erza's POV
The day after New Year's, Jellal and I went out on our first date.
The first place we went was a fair. We had a competition to see who could beat the most carnival games. Jellal kicked my butt.
The next place was at the park. We planned it perfectly so that we could have a picnic at the park.
"Open wide." Jellal said, holding up a fork with a bite size piece of a sandwich on the end. I blushed, then opened my mouth. Jellal fed me the bite size piece of the sandwich and laughed as my face turned bright red.
"Open wide." I smirked, holding up another bite size piece of a sandwich. Jellal's face then turned bright red as well. I giggled, and he opened his mouth. I fed him the piece of the sandwich. Jellal smiled, I smiled back. Everything was going great, until....
"HEY, JELLAL, ERZA!" Natsu shouted from across a park. He was with Lucy...HOLDING HANDS????!?!??!?!???!?!? Where's Mira when you need her?
Lucy and Natsu walked over to our picnic blanket and sat down, still holding Lucy's hand.
"So.." Jellal smirked, and got closer to Natsu and Lucy. "You and Lucy, eh?" Natsu and Lucy nodded, both blushing a faint red. Jellal laughed, and I giggled.
"I'm so happy for you two." I smiled at them, while they still held hands and blushed the same red colour. Jellal told them how loud I was in my sleep.
"Erza is such a rough sleeper. I can hear her moving around in bed from across the hallway in a completely different room." I blushed. Natsu chuckled and Lucy giggled. Jellal offered them each a sandwich. And then, Natsu and Lucy told stories of their childhood.
It was the best day I could've asked for.
On our way home from our date, Jellal and I held hands. I wasn't really used to this so my whole face was bright red pretty much the whole way home. Jellal was as calm as ever.
"Hey, Erza?"
"Yeah?"
"I love you," he whispered. I didn't hear what he said exactly but I think I know. I blushed and smiled at him.
When we got home, Jellal insisted on cooking me dinner. We were out at our picnic talking to each other, Lucy, and Natsu so late that it was time to eat dinner.
Jellal and I are happy. Especially me.
