Erza's POV
January 14th. The day I've been dreading so much. The day Jellal has to leave and live back at his home with his mother. The last day of Winter break.
Jellal was packing his things and fixing the guest bedroom back up.
"Jellal, Lunch is ready. Hurry up so we can have a meal together for the last time." I called. Jellal walked into the kitchen as I set down two bowls of homeade macaroni and cheese on the dining table.
Jellal and I talked the whole time we were eating about how much we were going to miss living together.
The next day, I got ready for school and walked to school with Lucy.
"So, how are you and Natsu?" I asked, as we walked to school.
"We're good...we kissed for the first time a few days ago." she replied, blushing a faint pink.
"Congratulations, you two seem happy together and that makes me happy," I smiled at her.
When we got to school, Natsu and Jellal were waiting for us at the front entrance. Lucy waved at them, smiling brightly. She looks so happy.
"Hey Luce!" Natsu called, smiling. Jellal just stared at me in complete shock.
"Wow, you look so...stunning," Jellal complimented.
"You're not so bad yourself," I smirked, walking into school with Jellal following close behind me. Natsu and Lucy were behind us too, talking about how much they missed each other. They hadn't seen each other in a week and they act as if it's been years.
Jellal walked me to class, but we parted ways when we got there.
Natsu walked Lucy to class, since they were in the same class. Gray was late to class. AGAIN. Wendy was late too. She's never late...hmm.
Wendy walked in and was 10 minutes late.
"Ms. Marvell...what a surprise." Mrs. Strauss (hehehe....guess who...EVERGREEN HEHEHE) said, shocked to see the 4.0 GPA student late.
"I'm sorry... I had something to take care of." Wendy explained, walking to her seat.
"I'll let it pass since it's your first tardy but it won't happen again, clear?" Mrs. Strauss demanded. Wendy nodded, frightened by Mrs. Strauss' intimidating looks.
After that class, I had--
"Erza Scarlet, please come to the headmaster's office, Erza Scarlet, headmaster's office, thank you." The speaker said. I walked to the headmaster's office, and was greeted by Jellal.
"Erza." The headmaster said, nodding his head to greet me. I bowed. I sat in the seat next to Jellal.
"What's going on?" I asked Jellal.
"I'm just as confused as you are. He wouldn't say anything to me until you got here." Jellal answered. I nodded.
"Mr. Fernandes..." Headmaster said with a concerning look on his face. "I'm so sorry. But your mother has passed away,"
Jellal's expression completely changed. His eyes widened, and his mouth was wide open.
"H-How?" Jellal muttered.
"On her way to work, she was killed in a car accident. I'm sorry," Headmaster replied. I put my hand on Jellal's hand to relax him. He looked at me in utter sadness, then hugged me.
"Don't cry, I'm here, Jellal." I said, hugging him. He began to cry after I had said that.
Okay so thanks for reading! I love the support so keep it up!
QOTD:
1.) Whenever I end this book, should I make a sequel?
2.) Do you think Jellal's mom's death was actually an accident?Alright. Next chapter probably tomorrow. Bye-bye!!
