Chapter XIII • One More Chance

"Babe..." I said with my creased forehead.

And yes, Jho was the one who opened the door and she's totally crying right now while her hands were clasped together, so I approached her immediately and hugged her tightly.

"Ate Ly told me everything...I'm so sorry Bea. And I have my explanations naman babe e..." Then nilabas niya yung phone niya sa pocket niya, and inaabot niya yun saken.

Si ate Ly talaga. Baweng bawe, ibig bang sabihin non pabor na siya samin ni Jho? Ay nako, malalaan pa. Charot.

"No need babe, alam ko naman na mahalaga talaga yan, kaya ganon ka kanina. I'm so sorry din babe, kung nagalit ako..." Then nag-smile nako, nag-smile din naman na siya, so ibig sabihin were good na. After that, I wiped her tears then I just stared at her eyes.

"O? May ano sa mata ko Bea?" Tapos nag-blink, blink siya, so cute.

"Nagre-reflect kasi yung love mo. Hahaha! Nah, babe. Namiss lang talaga kita, sobra."

"I missed you too babe, di kasi ako sanay ng ganon tayo..." Then she hugged me, and I just put my arms around her.

"I love you..." Then I kissed her on her hair.

"I love you too babe..."

SILENCE.

*ting! A phone's ringtone?

"Ooppsss..."

We separate because of that, then we turned to look at the door, kasi dun galing yung ringtone.

And damn! Si ate Ly and ate Den nga yun at naka-peace sign pa pareho. Goshh kinabahan talaga ako dun... And ate Den's phone yung tumunog. Tawa lang sila ng tawang dalawa nung oras na tumingin kami sakanila...

"Kala mo Beadel ha. Witness ka namin kanina, ngayon kami naman. Hahaha!" Ate Den said. Tapos inakbayan lang siya ni ate Ly na naka-victory smile pa.

We're here sa may mini park na malapit lang sa may training camp, and it's around 11:30pm narin. Nag-decide kasi si Bea na dalin ako dito, na kaming dalawa lang. Importante daw kasi yun, and kailangan ko daw talaga yung malaman, as in. We're just sitting sa may bench na katabi nung huge tree na may nakasabit pang mga small lamps sa branches non, just telling stories about sa mga bagay-bagay...

"Jho..."

"Hm? Bakit babe?"

SILENCE.

"I'm so sorry Jho. Ayoko na, tama na to. Hindi na kasi tama yung TAYO. I think we need to give this an ending na..."

She stand, then faced me. She's totally different now, sobra. She's not my babe, she's not Bea.

"B-bea? W-what are you saying? Ayos naman tayo kanina diba?" I forced myself for a chuckle, pero nauna na yung luha dun.

She sighed.

"I need some space Jho. Gusto ko munang mag-isip...sorry."

I stand, then I held her both hands. I was obviously shaking but I need to know her reason kahit pa mag-collapse ako dito, basta I need to know her reason...

"Bea, a-ano pang pag-iisipan mo? Listen please, mahal mo naman ako diba?"

Binawi niya yung kamay niya, then tumalikod na siya saken.

"I don't know Jho. Litong-lito nako..."

Then with just a blink of my eyes, she walked away from me...
