Their love was as deep as the sea
And endless as the horizon.
It was then they realized,
There was no where they'd rather be.
Their affection was bright like the sun
And smooth like the sand between their toes.
It was then they realized,
They were where they needed to be.
Their love was strong like the tide
And high like the waves.
It was not the love that they wanted,
But the person they craved.
