You're supposed to be there.
For me first in a time of need,
To help me see life through,
To listen when I need to be heard. You're supposed to be there.
For me, your best friend, before him,
To tell no one else what I tell you,
To be my best friend in a time of need. But can I still call you that right now?
You haven't asked me how I've been
Or how I've been dealing with things. It's like I've been pushed aside, beside him,
The boy that broke me.
You should be there for me, your friend
Instead of going to him first. But just in the way that he broke me,
I'm scared you'll break me too.
