When he is gone for the weekend,
I end up doing the majority.
The cleaning,
Taking care of pets, siblings,
Sometimes cooking too.
When he is gone for the weekend,
I take care of my own zoo.

When she has a problem
I tell her what she needs to hear.
She's special,
They don't deserve you,
Sometimes you can do better.
When she has a problem,
I take care of her.

When I am having troubles,
It always stays within myself.
I don't let them know,
I fake it,
Sometimes they can tell.
When I am having troubles,
Nobody ever notices me.

So who's the one really in charge?
It's me.
I'm the one running my broken family.
I'm the only one who cares for me.
When it's me,
Nobody recognizes me,
Nobody gives thanks,
Nobody remembers what I did.

It's me.
