They all say sorry,
But they don't know what sorry means.
They don't mean it.
They don't know what else to say.
They all say they feel bad.
But they feel nothing at all.
They don't show it.
They don't know what else to do.
They all say they understand.
But they have no idea.
They are clueless.
They don't know how else to comfort.
They all say they're there for you.
But they never are.
They are false hopes.
They don't know what they're promising.
They all make a promise.
But they never keep it.
They know what they're doing.
They know that they're letting us down.
And they do nothing to change it.
