I saw you today.
Staring back at me through the phone,
Haunting me,
Reminding me of what once was.
I heard you today.
From the video that I stumbled upon.
Taunting me,
Showing me of the man you once were.
I remembered you today.
From the memories I sorted through.
Scolding me,
Reminding me that you don't care the same way.
I hated you today.
From the nightmare of a broken heart.
Hurting me,
Showing me that love is not what people make it out to be.
