Crow Hogan x Reader

Chapter 3

You were all surrounded by several thugs. One of them grabbed you by the hand, dragging to what looked like a dueling field. The man then threw you on to the ground as you flinched in pain. You were then encompassed by an onyx cloud. Everyone yells, "Y/N!"

Crow growls, "Damn it!" Akiza gulps, "Uh guys, I think we're next." A fiery aquamarine orb was headed their way at full speed. Everyone closed their eyes but they all felt nothing. Trudge was the first person to open their eyes. He exclaims, "What is that?!" Mina said, "Hold on a second." Jack asked, "What?" Mina continues, "They look like one of Y/N's duel monsters." Yusei's eyes widen, "That's Amores of Prophecy and the Dark Magician." Luna spoke up, "I think they're protecting us." Luna realized something, "If you can see them....oh no." Luna said, "We're in some kind of shadow game."

You groan, "Ow..." You look around, "W-Where am I?!" "Y/N, calm down." "Yes, Dark Magician Girl is right." You said, "Dark Magician Girl, Tempest....what's happening?" Dark Magician Girl answers, "A shadow game. Whoever this person is, they possess the power of the shadows." Tempest adds, "Be careful, we don't know what these people are capable of."

Amores was annoyed, "These guys are annoying! Can't they leave these people alone?" Dark Magician answers, "Amores, stop. These people are servants to the shadows, of course they'll do no such thing." Luna spoke up, "Where did you come from?" The two Spellcasters look to the girl who spoke. Dark Magician answers, "We sensed trouble and came here. We came from the spirit world to warn you all. Both worlds are in danger." Amores sighs, "Hey carrot boy, stop worrying will you?" Crow said, "Quit callin' me that!" Amores groans, "Ow! What was that for?!" Dark Magician answers, "That was for fooling around."

You ask, "Who are you?" The man questions, "Don't remember me?" He adds, "I'm the one that almost brought you here! The name's Hotaru, and I'll be gladly bringing you back here!" You reply, "I refuse to go with someone who values power over a human life." Hotaru replies in a mocking tone, "Oh I'm so scared!" He adds in a more serious voice, "If you want to leave, you'll have to duel me for it, kid!" You exhale, "Fine, but leave my friends alone." He smirks in response, "I think that you should be more concerned about your own life. Lose this duel and you'll all lose your souls to the depths of the shadows." Tempest questions, "How does he know who you are?" You reply, "I don't know...but something tells me that he won't back down until he gets what he wants."

Crow growls, "Come on! How are we supposed to get out of here?" A male spirit answers, "Anger will get you nowhere, Crow Hogan." Crow's eyes widen, "W-Who said that?" Dark Magician said, "Arcanite." Amores remarks, "Where were you?" Arcanite Magician answers, "Keeping those shadow creatures away from these humans." Akiza asked, "Hey Luna? How can we see them? Is this some kind of dream?" Dark Magician shook his head, "I'm afraid not. This is a real shadow game. Although, it puzzles me that they only took Y/N and not Martha." Yusei said, "Now that I think about it, he's right." Boom! Luna jumped, "W-What was that?" A cackle was heard from either side of the warehouse. The deep voice said, "Destroy them all! I want to see them all perish! That girl can't win if her friends have disappeared!" The dark flames were heading towards everyone but they did not hit them in time. Dark Magician spoke quickly, "Go! Find Y/N and get yourselves to safety! We can deal with these creatures. Isn't that right Arcanite and Amores?" The two mages nod. Everyone listened and headed somewhere....hoping that they would find you in time.

His eyes gazed at you menacingly. You said, "I don't have a choice, if I don't duel him then everyone pays the ultimate price." You said, "Fine, I'll duel you." Hotaru smirks, "I was hoping you'd say that, pathetic girl." You both said, "Let's duel!"

Within the depths of the abandoned warehouse, Yusei and the others were trying to navigate their way to you. "Are you looking for Y/N?" A young girl appeared in front of them, holding a short staff in her hand. Luna questions, "Who are you?" The young Spellcaster replies, "You can find out later. For now, I'll lead you to Y/N." She adds, "You can trust me, I promise." Crow said, "As long as you lead us to Y/N, then we're good." There was a door underneath Crow's feet and it suddenly opened. Everyone yells, "Crow!" Another creature appeared, with its sapphire wings spread wide. The majestic creature caught Crow by its talons, not letting go. The young girl calls out, "Wait for me!" Jack exhales, "I guess we should follow them."
