Epilogue

****Two years later****

It had been two years since you saw your friends. Akiza had gone abroad to study medicine, Jack pursued a turbo dueling career while the twins further pursued their education. Yusei had stayed in New Domino to keep his father's legacy alive. Crow had gotten a job with Sector Security. However, you felt a small emptiness in your heart.

Not seeing your friends made you a bit upset. You missed the moments where you would tease Akiza or laugh at a joke Leo would make. You didn't know what to do. "Y/N, I'm back!" You didn't reply back to Crow's statement. Crow asked, "What's with the long face, princess? Is something bothering you?" You let out a small sigh, "Everyone has already found their path...why haven't I found mine yet?" Crow kisses your temple, "It's okay if you haven't found it yet. Do what you feel is right. I'll be here to help in any way I can." You reply, "I hope so..."

Moments later, you hear the loud snores coming from your fiancé's mouth. You were thinking about the conversation you had earlier with Crow. You then thought of the letter you received two years ago from Misty Tredwell. "What are you thinking about?" It was Sky, also known as the Maiden of the Skies. You quietly reply, "I don't know in all honesty. Is it bad that I haven't found a path that suits my reflection on life?" Sky shook her head in disagreement, "Not at all. Like Crow said earlier, it takes time for a person to find their passion in life. You love to help people, Y/N. I know that for a fact. It's okay to think about yourself sometimes, no one will criticize you for doing that." She then adds, "Crow snoring is absolute torturous to my hearing." You quietly laugh, "I've gotten used to it after a while." Sky exhales and shakes her head.

Crow yawns, "Princess? Y/N?" Crow went downstairs to investigate. There, he saw you looking through a wedding catalogue. Crow speaks up, "Don't tell me that you've turned into bridezilla already?" You swiftly reply, "This coming from a person who uses birds to defend his honour." That shut him up pretty quickly. You add, "If I were bridezilla right now, I'm sure you wouldn't be standing here right now. You'd probably shield yourself from the wedding apocalypse." Crow laughs, "I'm only kidding." He sits beside you and inquires, "Is there any specific theme you want?" You shrug, "I don't know, honestly." You both went on to discuss the minor details of your upcoming wedding.

Meeting Crow was like a fairytale to you. Not like the prince saving his princess...but it felt like it. Crow always made you happy even when you were sad. He made you laugh, he made you angry but he was yours. You always cherish the moments you had with him. His heart was as large as the New Domino sunset. Crow's hair was always pulled back by a green headband. His face was adorned by the many marks he acquired when he was at the Facility. He may look tough on the outside, but he was a true gentleman in your eyes.

Crow felt incredibly at ease when he was with you. He did not think that he would find himself mesmerized by a girl he met through Martha. He slowly found himself falling in love with you. Your personality, your willingness to help others and your sheer determination. Those were only some of the qualities that Crow loved about you. He also knew how vulnerable you could be. Crow knew that he had to protect your heart from everything that came at you both. Though you may seem shy and reserved on the outside, Crow knew that you were much more. You are his other half......his princess...no, his queen.

Since those two years past, you had graduated with Akiza. Akiza had told you after graduation that she would leave New Domino. A piece of you was happy for her but another part of you wanted her to stay. You shake your head, "No...Akiza would want me to be happy. If I'm happy for her, then why do I feel so sad?" You didn't know that Crow was quietly watching you. Crow whispers, "Y/N.."

*****Two weeks later*****

Crow kisses your cheek, "Well, I'm off. I might be late tonight." You were a bit sad, "This is the third time this week." Crow exhales, "I know and I'm sorry. They need me and they're short several officers." He kisses your forehead in reassurance, "I promise I'll make it up to you." You watch him leave and quietly sigh to yourself.
