"Bucky? Bucky?" Caroline was shaking me awake, with worry in her eyes.

"Huh what? What's wrong?"

"You were screaming... And shaking... And I thought something was wrong with you."

"Sorry... I can't really sleep."

"I can tell."

I rubbed my face and looked to the window which was barely lit from the sun outside.

"What time is it?"

"Like 5 in the morning Bucky."

I staggered myself up and left my bed, almost falling over. Caroline followed me around my room, as I was grabbing new clothes to wear.

"What are you doing?"

"I have to go." I realized.

"Go where?"

I tripped on a chair and hit my face on the wall as I fumbled to get back up, grabbing my head.

"Ow...Steve."

"It's really early Bucky."

"I don't care."

"You can't even walk across your room without hurting yourself, let alone across town!" She hissed.

"I'm going."

She threw her head back and started walking to her room.

"Then I'm coming with you." She said as she started rustling things around in her closet.

I slipped on a new shirt and stood in her doorway waiting. She grabbed a coat and took a ribbon from her desk as we walked down the stairs quietly in order not to wake anyone up. She pulled up her short blonde hair and tied the blue ribbon around it behind her head. We stealthy opened the front door and stepped out onto the porch and down the stairs quietly.

"You know you didn't have to come Caroline."

"Yes I did." She whispered.

We walked down the sidewalk as the dew on the grass was shimmering in the lights of houses. The sun was barely coming up as we looked down at our feet to avoid tripping on anything. Caroline stumbled on a crack as I reached down to catch her.

"Is it too early for you?"

"Yes actually." She yawned.

I smirked as I held her up and kept walking towards Steve's house.

*********

I walked up the stairs to the walkway with Caroline behind me. We passed the Allen's and the rail I tripped on last night, until we reached Steve's door. I stood there and closed my eyes. My sister fiddled with her feet restlessly.

"So how do you expect to get in? Do we knock or just stand here?" She questioned sarcastically.

"Be quiet smarty pants."

I turned away from the door and lifted up a block behind us that held the key underneath it.

"Oh." She whispered as I held it up to the door.

I quietly slipped the key into the handle and turned it without making any noise. I motioned for Caroline to follow me in as I turned and shut the door behind us.

"Watch out for that floor board."

I pointed down next to Sarah's bedroom as we continued walking through the small hallway. I got to Steve's bedroom and stopped. Caroline came up behind me and reached her hand up to my shoulder.
