My mother took it upon herself to waltz into my bedroom this morning while I was literally only wearing underwear.
When I yelled at her to knock, she used an excuse that my door was already open.
First of all, it was open like an entire half a centimeter, so she can calm down with all that. Second of all, she
L E F T I T O P E N.
So now, I'm taking all of the necessary precautions to make sure she doesn't come in. That means getting up and immediately locking both of my doors (I share a jack and Jill bathroom with my sisters).
I got to school only to discover Michelle was coming late and that Chase wasn't coming at all. Great. That means I have to figure out what to do with myself until the beginning of first period.
I talked to Emily, a nice girl who has classes with a couple of my friends. She appears annoying, but is actually very nice to have a conversation with.
I had to do this shitty essay for English, about the coming of age theme of Romeo and Juliet. I bullshit the ending because the teacher talked throughout my attempt at a well-written essay.
In homeroom, Michelle was there. On June ninth, coincidentally when her and a bunch of friends are supposed to be going out to lunch after school, she has to attend some chorus thing. Because she made the board. I'm proud of her, I am. It's just annoying that out of all the days she has to go to this thing it has to be that day. If another person cancels I might just throw myself into a ditch.
I'm allowed to throw out my springboard book, thank god. I'm so tired of lugging that book around with me everywhere, especially since we rarely use it.
I just left it in biology, and I wasn't planning on going back for it. I didn't.
Fourth and fifth period were just tests and then sixth period came. I got there while Michelle and Lynn were speaking outside. Lynn was turned the opposite direction so I ran up to her and jumped.
She turned toward me laughing and complimented me in some way or another. Then I told her she was too good for this world and went to class.
I had to work with Kat. She's kind of weird. Not the fun weird, more like genuinely creepy weird. She laughs about everything and spontaneously bursts out odd noises.
Anyhow, we managed to get our work checked without too much arguing, but I really wished Michelle was my partner. I was beginning think our friendship might be on the brink of ending.
We're always annoyed with each other. She just bugs me for no reason, and when I asked why she'd said or done something, she got defensive.
But I promised her months ago that I wouldn't leave her. She called me crying, talking about how everyone leaves her. Right now I'm beginning to regret that promise.
I don't break promises. I make them. And if putting up with everything she does, I'll learn to fucking deal with it. But I still can't help be feel this isn't what friendships are supposed to be.
At overlap, Lynn's boyfriend Eric was nowhere to be found. No offense but once again, he's not a character I'm very fond of. Everyone's telling me he's nice, and I think he is. But it's crucial that you know I haven't been very fond of any one of my friends ex's. And I've been told by a few people that Lynn should keep her guard up when it comes to this kid.
