I swear to god I had a plan, I did.
I was going to wake up at seven, shave my legs, put my crap together, get on a few outfits and then wait until Michelle's mother got there.
While I did wake at seven, I stayed in bed until 8:45, rushing up to get everything done before 8:15. I ran around the house searching for my stuff and kept her mother waiting for 5 minutes.
Luckily, Michelle was in a separate car with her sister and her best friend Hailey. They were stuck in dense traffic on a closed road, so I was ok to be a little late.
Some kids still had exams that day, Michelle and I weren't those kids. But she'd invited Lynn and a girl named Allison to her all day party as well, and they had two hours of exams.
Her mom came in got me and drove my to the school, where we'd get Lynn and Allison and go to breakfast. We were there for about fifteen minutes after the exam, all because Lynn couldn't stand to leave without talking to her boyfriend first.
Michelle wasn't pleased to have been kept waiting all that time, and angrily went back to her car until Lynn and Allison ran to her moms car so we could get going.
The place we went to for breakfast was not only aesthetically pleasing, but the food was great. A little place on the inside of a strip mall.
I met two of her sisters that I hadn't yet. They were very nice, especially the younger one, Jess. She had made sure I was ok when I was of course feeling a bit awkward.
After that we went to Michelle's house. We basically napped until it was time to go see neighbors 2. That movie was hilarious.
Afterward we made our own pizza, which I'd managed to screw up colossally, and then ate cake.
We went swimming at the pool, where the sun was setting beautifully.
I contemplated back and forth between going home and staying the night after we got back to her house. Then I called Sierra and her and her friend Orion came and got me. Orion was a tall, Hispanic film major where Sierra went to school.
He had great music taste and got her to take me to wendys on the way home (I didn't wanna eat as much as everyone else did because they were all skinny). So he's alright in my book.
When I got home at midnight, Orion stayed until one, when Sierra drove him home. Too tired to stay awake any longer, I went to bed.
I was so happy I decided to stay home.
