16 - Amnesia

A/N:

I hate how my brain goes "ching chong tomato" in the morning to "are there any other celestial bodies?" through the night.

This one shot was inspired by the 'Real or Not Real' segment from Mockingjay. I was really itching to write something from that scene because it was really cheesy.

This would be just a short one, because I'm really running out of ideas. Meh.

Patrick comes to your house day-by-day, bringing some pictures just to remind you of your lost memories caused by your amnesia. Whenever something confuses you, you'll ask him whether if it is real or not. Most of the things you asked him were a part of your memory and he was happy for your mind recovery.

There are times that he'll bring his friends and you'll ask them whatever you can fish out of your mind.

Since today was your anniversary, Patrick tries to remind you of all the things you've done with him by the means of a scrapbook that he personally made.

"We were involved in an accident, real or not real?" You asked, remembering what the doctor has said to you.

He nods at you, meaning it's real.
The both of you spent the day by bonding together and him singing to you the songs that you once loved before the entire accident.

When he was about to leave, you stopped him in his tracks by telling him that you have another question for him.

"Do you love me, real or not real?" You asked, because your love for him and for your family remained in your heart. There are times that your mind distorted it with thoughts, so you have to ask him for sure.

Patrick smiled at you, kissing your forehead.

"Real."
