//Donn's POV\\

Donn tightened his shoe laces, preparing to leave to meet Chris and the gang. He looked at his clock, which read 4:30. He could go now and be stupid with the gang until whenever he decided to meet the other people. Liana, Sapphire and Matt, wasn't it? Then he remembered the maths homework due in next week. Would he do it? Nah I still have a week anyways. The turquoise haired boy grabbed a Ellesse® jacket off the back of his bedroom door and pulled it on over his plain navy blue t-shirt. He ran down the stairs and opened the front door.
"Mum I'm going now be back later" he called to his mum who was in the kitchen washing the dishes. He heard her audible sigh and it sent a pang of guilt through him.
"Okay be back before ten" she cautioned, although not with too much enthusiasm. Donn stepped out of the door and into the roasting air. He looked at his Apollo bike. Chris hadn't said to bring the bike but it would make travelling in this heat so much less tiring. Which would be worse, a pissed off Chris and a happy me, or a happy Chris and a exhausted me... Donn chose to take his bike, so he arrived at their meeting place within fifteen minutes. Chris saw him arriving and made a sound that greatly resembled a growl.
"Donn I'm in a bad enough mood as it is you being a brat and bringing your bike doesn't help mate" he said.
"Why? What happened?" Donn asked, looking to the other members of the gang for help.
"Scrawny little brat started on me earlier, I think his name was Matt" Chris explained. Realization dawned on Donn, but he played it cool.
"Yeah I know the kid" Donn agreed. "Care to give details?"
"Nah it was nothing mate, don't worry I threatened and I think he's just a bit terrified now" he laughed
"Aw yeah good" Donn pretended to agree, but really he wanted to talk about it with Sapphire or Liana. "So where are we going?"
"Just round the neighbourhood I think" Tom suggested.
"Nah mate, I think we should try Jack's ground" Chris dared. Donn shook his head in disbelief.
"Your insane, Jack and his gang would beat the crap out of us!" He pointed out, raising his voice slightly.
"No, if all of you come we could win them in a fight" he argued.
"No, you're the only one who would be strong enough to beat one of them" Donn argued back.
"You're just a scared sheep, don't come but the rest of you don't dare back out" Chris ordered. Donn took a deep breath before getting back on his bike. He checked his watch to see what time it was before he cycled to the park.
At the park he could see Liana sitting on the swing on her phone. He ditched his bike on the floor by the park entrance before walking over to the swings. He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket, so he pulled it out to see the notification. It was a text from Chris.
"Wow. You ditched us for what exactly? Bet you're all alone in a sad little kiddies park contemplating how much of a selfish spoiled brat you are. Have fun with no friends tomorrow in school"
Donn laughed to himself and shook his head. He looked up to see Liana looking at him.
"Uh. Hey?" She said, attempting to start a conversation.
"Hey" Donn replied. He sat down on the swing next to her. After a while, she tried to start a conversation again.
"What were you laughing at?" Liana asked, looking across at him.
"Huh? Oh, nothing. Just Chris's attempt at guilt tripping/ offending me. He wanted to go piss off Jack, but he's the only one who wouldn't get absolutely wrecked by him. I walked away from him because he's a douche" Donn explained.
"Oh..." she looked away; Donn could see something was on her mind.
"What's up?" Be asked.
"The sky, the fluids, birds, oxygen, maybe a plane or two?" She replied.
"Haha very funny, seriously though, what's wrong?" Donn said, his voice dropping to a serious tone.
"Nothing, it's just that Matt was acting really.. off. He wouldn't sit with me and Saph on the bus, so Saph's gonna talk to him about it" she explained.
"Wait, Matt? Chris said something about a Matt... apparently he started on him or something" Donn frowned. Liana glared at him.
"That's your popular altered view of things Donn, your group twist things to make yourself escape look better. Matt would never start on Chris without being provoked" she ranted. The now slightly annoyed Liana looked away from Donn. Then they heard the gate to the park clang open. The two turned to look at Matt and Sapphire who had just entered the park. Matt paused slightly when he saw Donn before hurriedly catching up to Sapphire.

A/N Hey guys, Branwen here. So, a bit of a feud between the outcasts and the popular kids is shown here. Sorry this is actually quite short, but there will be more soon. Including Donn's background, Liana's father maybe? Can't give too much or Alex will cut my A/N down xD bye
