// Liana POV \\

Liana pulled the duvet over herself and snuggled herself into it. Just as she closed her eyes, a loud ringing noise filled the room. Liana groaned and grabbed her phone of the night stand. It was Matt. What on earth did Matt want at this time of night?
"Hello?" Her voice sounded croaky.
"Hi Lian sorry I'm calling so late" He replied from the other end of the phone.
"It's fine. Whats up?" She asked.
"Well I was wondering if you would come with me to see my parents tomorrow...?" He asked.
"Oh yeah sure" Liana sleepily answered. It would be Sunday and the guys had spent Saturday at the beach.
"Thanks Lian. Saph is busy tomorrow with Evan and Donn doesn't know about them so it's just gonna be you and me" Matt told her.
"Yeah that's fine. See you tomorrow then"
"See ya"

Liana placed a few gentle knocks on the door and waited for someone to answer. The door swung open to reveal a smiley Matt. He was wearing a blue shirt with a peice of cheese on it that was saying 'yo'
"Hey" Liana smiled.
"Sup! I guess we can start walking. It's only about two miles away" Matt informed her. He shut the front door and the two started walking down the street.
"So how are you feeling about seeing your parents again?" Liana dared to ask. She felt as though she was walking on thin ice and if she said something wrong, she would fall straight through. This seemed to be a touchy subject.
"I'm pretty excited actually. They may not have the best people in the world but they're still my parents" Matt smiled at her.
"Fair enough. What's Sapphire doing with Evan?" She changed the subject.
"She's going to his house I think. She says they're just friends but..." He smirked. Liana didn't know what was going on between them but she doubted it was anything interesting. The two chatted for a while before the police station came into veiw. It looked like a regular police station; Fairly boring and plain. Matt seemed really energetic and was twiddling with his fingers.
"You ready?"
"Barely..."He sighed, inhaling through his nose. "Okay, let's do it." The two pushed the doors open and entered. Inside there was a small waiting room and a large desk with a man sat behind it. A large, locked door was on the right of the room that looked liked it led to the cells. They walked up to the desk and smiled at the guy.
"Yes?" He asked with a bored face.
"We're here to see Mr and Mrs Blouse" Matt grinned.
"Okay take a seat we'll go and get them" He replied. The two went and took a seat in the waiting room. Liana sat down beside two boys who looked to be the same age as her. One was tall yet skinny with square frame glasses and brown sideways hair. The other was a blonde who was stronger built than the other. His hair was styled in a quiff and Lianna had to admit he wasn't ugly. He looked strangely familiar too....
"Sup" The one with glasses said.
"Hi" Matt answered.
"What are you guys here for" The blonde asked. Liana definitely recognised his voice.
"Stuff" Matt messed with one of the bandaids on his knee.
"Wait...do I know you?" The blonde turned more in his seat to face Liana. She felt her heart rate quicken as she leaned over into Matt more.
"Um...no" She laughed nervously.
"Yeah I do. You're Liana! You have to remember me" He told her. That was when it hit Lianna. His name was Cal and he is an amazing model. His parents and Liana's parents get on really well and plenty of times she had nearly been forced to do photoshoots with him. Lianna really didn't want Matt to find out about her so she decided to play it dumb.
"Um no I don't know who you are"
"Don't lie" Cal looked straight into her eyes. Matt looked incredibly confused. "Well anyway let's not dwell on your lies. I'm Cal and this Alastair" He smiled over at Matt.
"Oh um I'm Matt" He awkwardly replied.
"Are you two dating?" Alastair randomly asked. Now Liana was really blushing.
"No" They said in unison. Liana glanced over at Matt and their eyes met, sending her heart flying.
"Well you should be" Alastair told them whilst pushing his glasses up. Liana couldn't believe this guy; He didn't even know her!
"Oi! Mr and Mrs Blouse are ready to see you" the police man called. Lianna felt relieved as her and Matt left the two boys. They followed the guard through into a special room. In the centre of the room, a large peice of bullet proof glass separated the prisoners from the visitors. Small stools were set up on the visitors side so that they could sit and talk to the people on the other side.
"There they are!" Matt grabbed Lianna's wrist and pulled her over to a a section of the glass. On the other side sat a skinny couple, their faces so thin that they looked like they were wearing extreme contour. The female had long, shaggy and dirty blonde hair with many freckles. She looked like she hadn't eaten in weeks... She looked like she was wearing a Halloween costume that was supposed to be scary. Liana wondered how the heck Matt managed to live with this people. Her parents were so... Clean. A small piece of dirt on their clothing would get them throwing it at Colton to wash it.
The buff male sat next to the female. He had a grey moustache as well as curly brown ( which was turning silver ) hair. The man had a scar across his forehead, and eyebrows as thick as caterpillars.
"Hi! It feels like ages since I last saw you guys!" Matt sounded as excited as a litle puppy. The two people stared blankly.
"So...when are you getting out?" He asked, a little more awkwardly.
"Who are ya kid? Leave us alone" The woman barked at him. Matt looked shocke and horrified at this and Liana watched as his eyes lost all happiness. It actually felt like her heart was braking.
"What do you mean? It's me, Matt. Your only son? The one you... The one that you seemed to dislike..." He almost whispered, as his voice trailed off, cracking. Liana could tell that he was on the verge of tears, but was desperately holding them back,  because of his reputation of being a 'tough cookie.'
"We don't know no Matt. Scram kid" They spat.
"He's your son! How do you not remember him?!" Liana lost control slightly at these two people. How dare they act like this with Matt!
"Who the 'ell do you think you're talking too missy? You loosers better disappear quick or you'll regret it". This must have hurt Matt so much as he rose from the chair and stormed out of the room. Liana began to chase after him but she turned to face his parents.
"I hope you're happy" She growled at them. She spun on her heal and ran out ir the building. Lianna glanced around the street and felt a ping of worry when she couldn't see him. She decided to jog back the way they came and see if he had gone home. It didn't take long untill she found him sat on a bench at the side of the road. Lianna ran up to him and without thinking, wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Matt I'm so sorry about what happened. I hope you're okay" She told him whilst taking her arms back off him to look at his face. His curly hair was even more messy than usual from the wind and his eyes held sadness and confusion.
"I'm sorry for leaving you behind Lian. Let's just go" He muttered. Matt walked past her and carried on down the road, pulling a pre-made cigar out of his coat pocket, along with a lighter. Liana understood that he probably just wanted to be alone right now so that he could think things over. She just caught up and walked beside him for support. She glanced at him. He had sudden bags under his eyes as his eyes were puffy and red. A cigarette hung from his mouth. This day did not go to plan, but it did push her a step closer to telling him about her parents.
