// Matt's POV \\
Matt stuffed a pair of waterproof shorts inside of a bag, along with his video game console, a towel, and a pack of Doritos ( just incase! ).
He walked out of his room and into Sapphire's, who was sat at her desk, writing in her sparkly pink diary thing again. She immediately covered it up with her hands as Matt came in, and smiled at him innocently as if she had done nothing.
"The more you hide that book, Saph, the more you make me want to read it" he laughed, and cleared his throat. "Oh and uh, you're coming to the beach with us... Right?"
Sapphire stood up.
"beach? You never told me we were going to the beach!" She exclaimed. Matt sighed and rubbed the back of his head.
"Heh, well... I thought I did but... Obviously not." He laughed awkwardly.
Sapphire immediately ran over to her wardrobe and pulled the doors open, grabbing a white and blue striped swimming costume.
Pulling his scruffy little bag off his back, Matt held it out to her.
"You can put it in my bag if you want" he smiled warmly, and Sapphire, nodded, thanking him and shoving it into the bag.
"I'll get a towel" she said, running to get a beach towel from the bathroom cupboard, and shoving it in the bag.
Looking around the room, sapphire thought to herself.
"Oh! Sun cream!" She yelled, grabbing a white bottle of sun cream from a wooden box and putting it in the side of the back. Eventually, she thought that's all they needed.- - - -
After the short while of having to walk to the local beach, Liana was already there; as usual. She ran up the them, giving each one of them an icecream.
"here! I bought you an ice cream! Donn is down there" she pointed down towards the water, smiling.
"Liana how did you afford these-"
"O-oh! Pocket money!" She laughed awkwardly. Matt knew there was something up with her and her money.
He shrugged it off and thanked her, walking down towards the beach. The three of them sat on a picnic mat on the sand, and Donn came running after them, sitting on the mat with them.
Matt's expression lit up. "H-hey Donn!" He smiled. Donn was wearing a shirt and some waterproof trousers- so was Matt.
Donn smiled broadly, and waved.
"Hey Matt" he replied. Matt noticed Liana had a big smirk plastered on her face as she looked at him. Silence went through the group, until Sapphire spoke up.
"S-so! Anyone wanna go in the water?" She asked.
"Yes!" Matt and Donn said in synchronisation, punching the air. Liana looked to one side.
Looking at Liana, sapphire tilted her head.
"You're not coming in?" She asked. The brunette shook her head.
"...I can't swim" she answered, exhaling a laugh. Hearing this, Matt kneeled down and put a hand on her shoulder.
"I'm not good at any sports, but I'm an amazing swimmer. I'll teach you." He stared at her in the eye, smiling assuringly.
Liana nodded.
"Alright, but I'm not going in further than my waist's height." She insisted. The three of them nodded.
"Fine then."
-
Matt took off his shirt to go in the water, beginning to walk towards the sea. He tiptoed to try not to stand on stones that would hurt his feet.
Behind him, the other three followed.
Of course, Matt immediately turned to look at Donn.
Donn has a six pack.
Donn has a six pack.
Gritting his teeth together, Matt tried to ignore it. The only six pack Matt had ever had was a six pack of chicken nuggets from Macdonalds. He looked over at the other two.
Sapphire wore the swimming costume that she had put in his bag, and Liana wore a pair of denim shorts over a black and blue swimming costume. Her feathered brown hair fell down beautifully on her shoulders...
hehe, it would be a shame if someone got her hair wet...
Liana began to stiffen as the water got to knee height. Matt scoffed and ran back, grabbing her wrist with his hand and beginning to slowly pull her further into the water. He could feel her pulling against him.
"Come on, Lian'" he chuckled. He noticed red rush to her cheeks.
Did she have a crush on him?
Nah, no one would like him that way.
Pulling her to waist height, she began to panic.
"This is the furthest I'm going" she crossed her arms strictly.
Scoffing, Matt ran up to her and. He put an arm around Liana and pulled her deeper, only to stop after a short while.
"After three, we both have to dunk our heads under the water at the same time" he giggled, wrapping his arms around her.
"3, 2, 1..."
He pulled her down as both of them took a breath. Matt hated getting his hair wet Because, considering it was curly, it looked strange.
They pulled themselves up, laughing has their wet hair hung over their faces. Liana seemed to have forgotten the fact that she couldn't swim. He looked at Liana in the eyes, giving off his usual goofy smile.
"see, it's not that bad." He shrugged.
Liana looked at her hair and pouted.
"Well, my hair is wet... But-"
"Ooooooo!" Donn called, interrupting them.. The two of them immediately snapped and turned their heads to look at him. "Lovebiiiiirds!"
Blood rushed to Matt's cheeks as he swam over to Donn and pushed him lightly. "I hate you" he giggled.
Donn splashed him across the face in reply. "You too."Heyyy it's Alex! I'm SO sorry this is super late, it somehow took a while to write ( mainly because I kept forgetting about it ) so enjoy! Also, please keep reading and suggest Spring Valley Academy to your friends; we are losing reads!
