//Liana's POV\\
Saturday. What could Liana do all day? She had no idea. She sat on her large bed and stared at the ceiling. She was incredibly worried about Matt as she hadnt seen him since the day they went to see his parents. He kept ignoring her texts and calls and Sapphire always seemed to be busy. Liana missed her best friend. She felt like Sapphire was being taken away by this Evan person. A knock on her door took her out of her thoughts.
"Come in" She called. Colton opened the door and stepped in.
"I can trust you home alone right? I'm just gonna head to see Donn's brother, Luke" He explained whilst running a hand through his blonde hair.
"I was actually thinking of going to see Donn. Do you think you could take me with you?" She asked as an idea sprung into her mind. Colton considered this for a minute.
"The house should be fine for a few hours alone...No one knows about my job either so let's just pretend I'm...your horse riding instructor..? I don't know anyway, I just need go and change into something more...normal" He told her whilst heading out again. Liana laughed to herself at how awkward Colton was. She randomly came up with the idea for her and Donn to go and see Matt and Saph. She wanted check on Matt and get the gossip off Sapphire like they did before. Liana grabbed her phone and called Donn.
"Hey" His voice said through the phone.
"Hey Donn, I was wandering if you wanted to come with me to see Matt and Saph?" She asked.
"Sure, I've got nothing better to do"
"Okay I'll get a lift to yours and then we can walk there"
"Alright see you soon" He said as the phone call came to an end. Liana brushed her hair and checked her reflection in the mirror. She was wearing skinny jeans and a light blue hoody on that said "Sorry, I was busy with my unicorn" on it.
"You ready?" Colton called from downstairs. Liana hurried down the stairs and the two of them headed outside.
"What car are we taking?" She asked.
"My old truck" He said without explanation but Liana knew why. He didn't want Luke to know about his job. The two got into the truck and headed off towards the town.

Donn opened the door after Colton confidently knocked.
"Hey Liana and... Luke's friend" Donn trailed off as Luke came up behind him. Luke was fairly tall and had fluffy brown hair styled in a quiff.
"Colton! Hey man come on in" Luke smiled and let Colton into the house. Colton glanced at Liana and gave her a 'see ya' kind of smile. Donn closed the door and the two of them began to walk down the road.
"How do you know Colton?" Donn asked her.
"Oh uh.. he helps me with my horse" She easily lied.
"Fair enough. Hopefully we can convince Matt to come to school again"
"Yeah. I've told you a million times these last few days but I'm really worried about him. He might not appreciate us coming to see him but I don't care" She mumbled on. Donn nodded in agreement as his turquoise hair shone in the sun. Liana found it cool that she had a friend with brightly dyed hair. Normally the school wouldnt allow it but Donn was one of those people who got away with anything.
"Have you told Saph or Matt we're coming?"
"No I didn't really think of that. Too late now" She half hartedly laughed. The two friends made it to the house and knocked gently on the door. Sapphire's mother opened the door with her usual smile on her face.
"Liana! Donn! What brings you two here?" She asked in her bubbly voice.
"Oh hello Mrs Fleeceback. Are Matt and Sapphire here?" Liana asked sweetly.
"I'm sorry to say but neither of them are here. Sapphire is at Evan's house and Matt is outside somewhere. I'm not sure where though" She explained. Liana's heart sank. They came here for nothing.
"Oh okay thank you Mrs Fleeceback" Donn smiled. Sapphire's mum closed the door again causing Donn and Liana to blankly look at each other.
"Well that went well" she grumbled.
"Let's just go and find him" Donn suggested. Where would Matt go by himself? The thought then struck Liana.

Just as Liana had thought, a small figure with curly brown hair was sat against their closed down primary school wall. Liana could see why he liked coming here as all the memories came back to her. Donn seemed confused by this but decided to follow Liana anyway. As she climbed over the wall, she got the urge to run up to Matt and throw her arms around him but she managed to control herself. She slowly approached him so that she wouldnt give him a heart attack or anything; Donn still following behind her. Matt looked extremely tired with bags under his eyes and his hair sticking up everywhere. He must of noticed her but chose not to do anything. Liana slid down the wall and sat beside him without saying anything. Donn knelt down beside them, also in silence. No one spoke a word; instead just enjoying each others company. Eventually Liana felt it was time to talk.
"Hey" She almost whispered.
"Hi" Matt whispered back.
"How are you feeling?"
"I'm fine" Matt tried to smile at her but Liana knew he wasn't fine. She gave him a small hug.
"Hey man I heard about what happened. I'm sorry" Donn said softly. Matt seemed to notice Donn properly and instantly put a huge smile on his face. Liana could tell he didn't want Donn to see him upset.
"Its not your fault. How's school been?" He changed the subject.
"Really boring without you. You've got to come back on Monday" She told him.
"But.."
"Please Matt? You can't leave me with the girls again" Donn joked. Liana smirked at him and playfully slapped his arm. Matt also smiled at this.
"Fine it would be mean of me to leave you alone with Saph and this looser again" It was Matt's turn for a slap on the arm.
"You guys are so mean to me!" Liana laughed.
"You know we don't mean it" Matt smiled brightly. Seeing him happy again made Liana happy.
"Or do we?" Donn dared to go futher. The three of them burst into laughter again.A/N
