"Mr Blouse is it??". "Yeah, and the hell are you?". "Now, now Mr Blouse.... I'm simply here to propose--". "I'm not interested.....". "Oh but wouldn't you hear me out". "No, we're done talking". "Well..... that is a shame" the man sighed as he stood up in the cell, the setting sun shining in through the barred windows and the man, well dressed, a Scottish man with slicked up hair and a thin trimmed blonde beard and golden sunglasses resting upon his nose began to walk away as the guard went to open the gate "Wait..." Matt's father stopped him "Who are you? what do you want with me??". "Glad you asked Mr Blouse..... it's a job offer of sorts...". "Do tell". "Well...." he began as he took a seat back down ahead him "Not exactly your usual kind of work...". "No, I excepted not". "I've heard very exciting things about you I must say Mr Blouse". "Oh yeah?". "Ex-Military, covert operations??". "Yeah....". "Shame how things ended isn't it...... the ways you treated your son were truly despicable--". "Don't you talk about Matthew!! he's none of your concern". "It is actually...... because I was the man who reported you and your dear wife" he grinned putting his hands together as Blouse looked at him shocked "W--why.... who are you". "Well, Mr Blouse, you may have heard the name.... Ross, Ross Mitchell" he grinned putting out his hand and Mr Blouse just looked at him confusedly "Why the f*** did you report me!". "Simple enough Mr Blouse, I wanted to speak with you". Blouse sighed as he looked out at the setting sun across the water and looked back and put his hand out to Ross' hand. "Reginald Blouse" he nodded as he shook Ross's hand. "Pleasure to be working with you...... Mr Blouse".
Spring Valley Academy - December 31'st - New Year's Day
Matt stood outside the school hall wearing his Masquerade Ball attire, he flicked his lighter which set the cigarette between his teeth alight as he placed the lighter back in his pocket. H then heard the door open as none other than Liana appeared over at the doorway "Matt! I've been looking for you!". "Nice to know". "Are you....". "Smoking, yes". "Matt we've spoken about this....". "Yeah, so many times i couldn't forget". "Won't you come inside? it's freezing out here". "Give me a minute". Liana took a deep sigh before walking over, she stood right beside Matt as he took the cigarette from his mouth "Sorry, I'll be back in a second". "Matt you worry me...". "Hmm, why's that". "Do you want to talk, about.... you know". "My childhood, no". "I'm here for you, we all are, I want you to know that". "Look Lian---". "I need you to know that, I know meeting your parents must have been hard but.....". "Please.... just don't". "Just come on.... come back inside, we've been planning to come here for like a week now". "Yeah...". "Just try to enjoy yourself Matthew Blouse" she sighed with a shiver before turning away "Don't think i said..... you uh..... you look nice" Matt smiled and Liana blushed slightly "Not so bad yourself" she giggled before heading back inside as Matt looked back out at the darkness "Hey there loser, you better have it!".
Liana re-entered the party where she bumped into Donn "Oh hey" he smiled "Not coming out is he?". "No no! he's just taking a minute". "Ah, right". "Sapphire is with Evan I trust?". "Who else?" they both laughed and went back on into the party. Evan and Sapphire stood outside in the cold winter air on the overlook that stood over the main blocks and they both laughed furiously "No way!" Sapphire laughed and Evan shook his head "No, every word is true". "That's crazy". "I know right, think how I felt". "I can't even begin to imagine". "You know Saph.....". "What??". "I'm so glad I met you.....". "Well, same here you know" she looked down unable to hold back her grin. "Evan I wanna say something.....". "Hmm". "You are genarally the funniest person i've ever met and kindest too". "Afraid I can't agree with that". "What do you mean?? you are kidding right" she giggled as Evan leant down onto the banister with a sigh "I.... it's just..... I don't deserve you". "You're one to talk". "You don't understand...". "Evan what's wrong". "Crap" Evan whispered under his breath as he checked his phone and turned around as Sapphire came up to him "What's wrong?". "Nothing" he chuckled "Oh it's nothing I just gotta go". "Ah.... really?". "Yeah, sorry". "No it's fine, what's up". "Luke, it's uhhh.... he needs a hand with something". "Alright, I'll see you later though right?". "Yeah, yeah" he smiled before Sapphire took his arm "Hey Saph, I Really go--" he was cut off by a kiss, this felt like the best moment of Sapphire's life, they both eventually pulled back as Evan backed away "Evan.... I need to--". "It can wait, Luke really needs me". "Oh alright...." she watched as he left in a hurry as she tried to struggle out the words "I.....I love.... oh shut up!!" she told herself. She re-entered the party where she spotted Liana and Donn and ran over to them "Hey guys" she sighed. "Oh hey! where's your date?" Liana nudged her "Oh, he uhh.... Had to go....". "Ah...". "Anyways, where's Matt?". "Just outside, he'll be back soon" she sighed. "Well I don't know about you too but I'm heading over to the drinks stall". "Oh you and me both" Sapphire laughed as they walked over to the drinks stall and Donn grabbed a bottle and began pouring the whisky into a few wine glasses handing them to the others "So, You all want to come around to mine after the party??". "Oh, uhh... I think I'm busy" Sapphire stuttered. "Okay, Sapphire is busy with Evan and...". "Hey!!" she laughed as Liana giggled taking a sip of the alcohol which made her quite drowsy as it was really strong. "We can... go get takeaway? pizza?". "Yeah that sounds great Donn! me and Matt can probably make it". "Great". Sapphire's attention was drawn to the door as she saw Evan leave the room before she snapped back to the conversation. "So Liana, how exactly did you get your fortune??" Donn asked. "Oh! hah! I'm not actually 100% sure" she laughed. "Well that's a problem if your parents want you to take it over one day". "Hah! all she wants is for me to attend every photoshoot offered to us!". "Hmm, don't see why you wouldn't want it! Don't you like spend all your time watching a 55 inch TV watching Heartland??". "I spend most of my time riding actually". "You know I'd say that is close enough" and they all burst into laughter.
