Ch. 6

-What happened?-

Simon's POV

I was working, I worked at a garage, there was something shady going on there and there were always a bunch off scary looking men hanging around there, I always had the feeling that my co-workers were involved in something illegal, I was to afraid to ever ask any questions, I was going to quit there as soon as I managed to find work somewhere else.

But I never got that chance, I caught one off my co- workers taking apart a car that was not registered, they were stealing cars and tearing them apart then selling them for scrap. But they were not just taking old cars, no these were fancy cars, cars that cost a lot off money. I never wanted to be apart off this. But now that I've seen it I can't unseen it, even though I wish I could.

"keep your mouth shut Minter or they will kill you or someone you love, don't go to the police" Theon yelled at me,

"I wont I promise, I'll just pretend this never happened OK!" I say

"just as well, otherwise it wont end well at all."

"OK" I say, I know Theon is not joking around and to be honest I'm terrified off him.

- 2 weeks later –

I'm afraid to go to work every day, I did not do as Theon told me to, I went to the police, I'm not going to be taken down if the police find out themselves, I'm afraid that they will find out that I've told on them, there is an undercover cop that is working with the gang members, I know him, but I'm forbidden to talk to him at all about this, I did not even know he was undercover there, he was one off the lads there. His name is George.

But I'm not so lucky

"WHO FUCKING TOLD!!" I heard yelled from my boss's office

"no one, I've not told anyone" George said

"I think it was Simon" Theon then tells

"Simon does not know anything" George said

"he walked in on me when I was stripping apart the Bentley, I told him to not tell anyone else"

"AND YOU THOUGHT I DID NOT NEED TO KNOW??" my boss yells at the top off his voice, I'm in trouble now. Then he comes running outside and he locks his eyes on me, I can see the pure hate in his eyes, like I've ruined everything that he has worked for, I guess I have

"SIMON RUN" I hear George yell and I do, I run, I run to the next police station and they keep me there for a bit as they try to sort this out, I'm then told that I might just have brought down one off the biggest dealers of illegal car parts in London and that I was vital to there case against them, I needed to be kept safe.

"no one can know?" I ask

"No, no contact or anything with your past life"

"I can't even explain to my boyfriend"

"no, that will only put him in danger I'm sorry"

"so, I need a new name, new phone, new job, and no contact with anyone that I know"

"I'm sorry" they tell me as they ask for my address, they are going to empty everything I own out off my room when my flatmates are not home. This can't be happening. I ask If I can give Harry a note and the police chief reads what I've written and he gives me the OK to give that to him. I can't believe that I can't see Harry again, I want to hug and kiss him goodbye but I'm not allowed to do that and it sucks so bad. I just want Harry, because I know I'm about to brake his heart and that is something that I never ever wanted to do, and it's something that I never thought that I would do.
