Tiffany woke up at half past six the following day and the first thing she did was check her phone. Nothing. No messages or calls or anything. Her hands rubbed her sleepy eyes as she opened them wider in case her eyes were playing tricks on her vision.

The girl didn't utter a single word nor did her face display any type of emotion. However, deep down, she was disappointed once again. Greatly disappointed. Taeyeon didn't send any text like she had promised yesterday.

"Hm...did you even know how much I was looking forward to your text?" Her eyes watched longingly into her phone's lockscreen and in a split second, she felt like crying, bawling or throwing a tantrum to release her increasing frustration but what was the point of it all? This isn't the first time Taeyeon didn't send her a goodnight text. Although this has been becoming much more often as days go by. She fully understands that Taeyeon is an uprising superstar now and that she's very busy and that she's the new sensational K-POP singer but was it worth it?

She dropped her fisted palm onto her white mattress and laid sideways, the half of her face buried into the sunken mattress. Now that she thinks about it, it probably is worth it, for Taeyeon. It's probably absolutely worth it to put away their love for her one and only dream. When a chance of becoming a celebrity comes, who wouldn't take it? She's being selfish because she isn't in Taeyeon's shoes, she isn't the one whose dream is to be a singer.

"But still...Taeyeon why is it that recently, I'm starting to doubt that we can actually make it...through this" She mumbled as she thought through the past month. A month before she moved out, things started to change. Taeyeon came home late more often but Tiffany knew that it was because she's got a job at a radio station too. And after she moved out, they became distant. They do text every day and call but now it's becoming seldom too.

"Tiffany Hwang what to do? What's happening?" She sprang up and held her head with her hands. Her eyes clutched shut as she heaved out a sigh.

"Maybe it's only me. Maybe it's because I'm thinking too much."

Her fingers searched for her phone and speed-dialed her one and only life savior and full-time adviser.

"Hello my minion." The familiar lazy high-pitched voice greeted her almost instantly.

"Damn you're awake? Thought you'd still be sleeping since it's the weekend." Tiffany teased her best friend and laughed.

"Ha-ha so funny." Jessica said dryly. "Well, about that remark, let's say sleeping in is something I've gotten rid of since I've dated Yuri."

Tiffany's stomach squeezed at that cheesy statement but hearing Jessica saying that about her lover makes her miss Taeyeon dearly.

"Ew." Tiffany tried covering up her foul mood with a joke, although ineffectively.

"Hahaha well anyways, what's the point of ringing me up? Where's Taeyeon?"

"I...don't know." Tiffany felt embarrassed. She didn't even know where Taeyeon was. Are they even lovers?

"I'm phoning you to talk about something."

"What?"

"It's Taeyeon."

A silent pause came from the other line. "Meet me at our usual place at 10"

When she entered the buzzing coffee shop, the beautiful brunette was the first thing she saw, sitting at the very corner. A wave of surprise hit her as she looked at her watch.
