Chapter 11

Taeyeon got out of her deep slumber which was her desk. Piles of scrunched up paper was filling up the small room but Taeyeon managed to finish the song at 3 last night. The wooden guitar stood innocently as the petite girl stretched and yawned like a cat, her numb limbs once again coming back to life. Her body was weak due to the lack of sleep but as she glanced at the lyrics infront of her she gave off a radiant grin, hoping her hard work would pay off by the end of the day.

Taeyeon tucked a stray of her brown hair behind her ear and suddenly realized she had school to attend. Taeyeon groaned and she instantly slumped back down onto her desk knowing very well she's going to be late again. Her motivation of going to school was all down the drain now that Tiffany won't be working in her class anymore.

"You know what? Who gives a damn about school? I'm gonna skip you today baby!" She muttered and quickly ran to the bathroom to take a long hot shower.

After getting out of the shower, Taeyeon was beyond excited to meet up with Tiffany this afternoon.

"Just wait for her reaction!! Heeeeeheeee." Taeyeon cheekily mumbled and jumped up and down but quickly stopped. "What if....." She trailed off and immediately shook her head to get rid of the thoughts of Tiffany rejecting. She just has to cling on to her opptimistic side for now.

"KIM TAEYEON! YOU'RE LATE FOR SCHOOL!" Sunny's voice rang through the apartment as Taeyeon jerked in surprise. The petite girl zapped out of her room to see Sunny standing in the hallway, looking pissed, with arms akimbo.

"Geeez Sunny-ah I'm skipping school today. Gotta prepare myself for the confession yo!" Taeyeon replied instantly and disappeared into her room, locking the door tightly. She didn't want to hear Sunny babbling about her skipping school again. It was a pain to hear the lecture.

Taeyeon reached for her phone and dialed Tiffany with a smile on her face.

"Good morning Taeyeon!" Tiffany's voice came and Taeyeon smiled wider, if that was even possible at the moment.

"Hello Tiffany! Are you free today??" Taeyeon eagerly replied hoping Tiffany was clear of work.

"Well....I have work today..." Taeyeon's smile slipped, realizing Tiffany was occupied.

"But my work finishes at 4." Tiffany added quickly sensing the awkward silence coming from the older brunette.

"Oh jinja??" Taeyeon shouted and her lips curved up in a dorky smile.

"Ummm wae?" Tiffany asked, curiousity sweeping over her. She was having a feeling Taeyeon's up to something and she couldn't wait to see what it is.

"Do you mind meeting up with me at the café we first went to? You know the one nearby my apartment after your work?" Taeyeon explained and to not make Tiffany suspicious, she smartly added "just want to have a drink with you."

"Oh. Yeh sure. I'll try to meet up okay? And by the way....shouldn't you be in school Kim Taeyeon?" Tiffany's husky voice said and Taeyeon could feel the hair on her neck stand straight. Her voice...so freaking intoxicating and sexy aishhh!!! God save meeee. Taeyeon thought.

"Uhhhhh" Taeyeon stalled trying to find an excuse of not going to school. Without finding anything, she just said "oh bye! Gotta go don't forget the meet up okay? Bye." She quickly ended the call before Tiffany could even probe more into her skipping school. Tiffany wouldn't be very happy knowing that and the last thing Taeyeon wants to do right now is make Tiffany mad.

Taeyeon spend the whole morning thinking of how to make the confession more special. She really loved Tiffany and she hoped making it special would trigger Tiffany's feelings and make her proud. The frustrated girl bit her nails, a habit showing stress. Finally making up her mind, she walked down the streets, to the café that was supposed to be Taeny's rendezvous later on that day.
