It was when they were at a hotdog stand that Tiffany received a phone call from someone Taeyeon assumed was an American friend of hers. The younger girl was talking on the phone happily, her face always caught up in a smile whenever she was listening to the caller speak. The older girl took this chance to stare at her girlfriend once again. Honestly, she had no idea how many times she had asked herself this question.

When will she ever stop staring at Tiffany and end up smiling herself like a lunatic?

A drop of tomato sauce made contact with her hand and she cursed under her breath, realizing that she completely forgot about her little snack. Returning her attention back to her food she felt her pockets to find a tissue but to no avail. Her eyes went to the bald dude standing behind the food stand and her mind started to function thinking whether to ask him for a tissue or not.

"How do we ask for a tissue in English? What do we even call a tissue in English?" Taeyeon chewed the inside of her mouth and glanced at Tiffany who was still on the phone. She brought her gaze back to the hotdog in her grip and moved it to her mouth. Wiping her hand can wait for now. Finishing her hotddog was top-priority at the moment.

She let out a moan as her tongue met the delicious food in her mouth satisfying her starving body. She had spend the whole day with Tiffany walking around, shopping and goofing around from early morning until now, which was a little past 4 in the evening. America was a lot different than Korea. She found that it was ok and that she didn't really mind if she were to spend her life here one day. With Tiffany that is.

"Hey." Taeyeon moved her head and her lips tugged into a smile seeing Tiffany standing infront of her, finally off the phone.

"Who was that?" She couldn't help but question it. Who could it be that Tiffany would seem so happy to talk with?

"A friend of mine. Here in the US." Tiffany sat herself down on the nearby bench and gave a bite into her hotdog . Taeyeon nodded her head before muttering a word of understanding. No wonder why Tiffany was all smiles and stuff. Who wouldn't be in joy talking to an old friend like that?

"So...are you guys planning on meeting or something?" Just as she fired that question, she noticed how Tiffany stiffened before relaxing shortly. Why? She had no idea.

"She did ask. But I kind of...rejected." That reply made Taeyeon frown.

"Why?" Taeyeon scooted closer to the girl and threw her slender arm over the girl's shoulder pushing her attention all away from her beautiful hotdog. It can wait. Right now Tiffany Hwang is top-priority.

"Is something wrong?" Tiffany shook her head.

"Tae. We only have a week to spend with each other here in America before we go back to Seoul and you'll turn busy again. It's not like I can't see my friends again. We can meet anytime I visit my family here."

Taeyeon had no idea what to say. As all of the things Tiffany uttered sank into the other girl's brain, she couldn't help but let out an aww. Tiffany actually chose to stay with her over her friends. It was true what Tiffany said about her getting busy again after they return to Seoul. She'll have to promote her newest album and who knows what kind of work she'll have to fulfill? But on the other hand, it isn't often that Tiffany gets to reunite with her friends when they're a thousand miles apart.

With the gears turning around in her head, she weighed the pros and cons of the situation they were in right now. They'll be here for a week anyway. She figured that there was absolutely no problem with Tiffany going out with her peers. It would seem like she's a selfish person if she were to keep Tiffany by her side for the whole time. That was not the kind of person she want to be right now.
