so long story short i went to my friend's bday party and she's dominican and puerto rican and so are her cousins and one of them i'm like 50% sure has a lil crush on me & at first sight too but i mean :)

ANYWAY her cousin decided to play this song called "the black people song" and i already knew it was gonna be bad like the lyrics just sounded like a white person singing about black stereotypes and i was just kinda ?? over it ?? like i didn't say anything and the thing is neither did my friend ?? she just let him play it and shes woke so she should've like ....

anyway the thing is he like wanted to see if i would say something and i was going to until i realized he wanted me to get mad and i wasn't gonna give that to him LMAO. it sucks that there's so much anti blackness in the latinx community smh ,,,

anyway like when i left i texted my friend this ;

anyway that just pissedt me off because like ? why are there so many latinx people and even other poc that think it's funny to ridicule and degrade black people. like one of the lines in the song was "we can't spell neighbor so we just call it the hood."

i'm sick and tired of it and there's been a lot of people in the latinx community lately telling people to go back to africa like this one girl in my class said to this cape verdean kid. like bye we're all from africa your ancestors are from africa you wouldn't be alive if it weren't for us !! we go wayyy back we are the start of human civilization. so if he goes back to africa, you goin back too sweaty !!!

and then why do ya call our hair "cheetoh puff curls" ... unnecessary. but next thing you know yall wanna be wearing cornrows and shit which should only be a thing if your hair is naturally curly anyway. i simply don't see any other reason for you to want them just to be trendy y'know.

& then all of them saying nigga like unless you're afro-latin then wyd. & yes latinx people were enslaved too but so were white people ??? like every race has been enslaved at one point & if ya can say it because you were enslaved then that must mean white people can say it too. and they can't lmao. so literally unless you are afro latin then don't say the n word because so many latinx people will SWEAR white people can't say it but then they turn around and say it not even being afro latin themselves.

anyway, next topic.

i watched this video called white people try african food for the first time and it was actually so embarrassing. one - the only foods they had them eat were nigerian and african is a continent you can't say "african food" if you're feeding them nigerian food. that's like saying "asian food" and then giving them panda express lmao.

anyway it was embarrassing and degrading because they gave them fufu. like the first thing they gave them was plain fufu with NO SOUP. 

so then one of them literally said "no wonder it takes 50 cents to feed an african family bc they eat this shit."

1) not all of africa is living in poverty like we're doing pretty damn well in fact it is us graduating with 4.5 gpas at harvard and it's us that are making your cars so think fast hoe.

2) it could be an african family living well off in the U.S.

3) these hoes ate NIBBLES. NIBBLES. of the fufu. didn't even eat it with soup anyway. our food is very filling and has high levels of protein. once you eat a bowl of egusi in nigeria you'll be full. at least more full than when becky fed yall peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for dinner but ☕️☕️☕️

ya over here using olive oil HAIR SPRAY in food . then saying that we can't read when the label clearly says hair spray gtfoh.
