so like i've seen this tag floating around and wanted to do it so HEYY !!
1. Have you ever been told you sound like a white girl?
all the time ! and it pisses me off- used to stay silent or laugh it off whenever someone said "you sound white" or "you act white" but nowadays i go off and people just stop fucking with me after that.
2. Do you drink Starbucks?
yes and i usually get a frappucino with a melted chocolate chip cookie.
3. Do people ever say you act ghetto?
sometimes. and like yesterday, my friends and i were making a youtube video and we were acting out a scene where we were like supposed to be moms watching their kids perform.
so like my friend told my white friend to be like "yay i'm so proud of my daughter!" and clap calmly. then he got to me and told me to go "YAS THAT'S MY BABY GIRL!!!!"
and i was like ??? ummmm wtf why i gotta be loud and shit just cuz i'm black ?? like don't even trip and tell me that that's not what it was about because it wAS and i was so annoyed so i just clapped the same way my friend was because there's no way i'm going to be erased into the stereotype of black moms smh.
4. Can you dance?
well i can, but i haven't been able to very well until the beginning of this summer. and i don't consider whipping and all that to be actual dances but i still get pissed when white people say "it makes you look silly" blah blah blah idk why that should annoy me but it does. but yeah since i'm in theater camp we've been learning dances and i actually like dancing now ??? and i'm good at it???
5. Do you eat soul food?
not regularly.
6. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
it could take 1-2 hours which is why i've started to wake up early omg y'all i think i'm gonna write a rant about how to wake up early and get through the day and be productive.
7. Have you ever eaten fried chicken?
yes.
8. What is your ethnicity?
black // i guess igbo because that's the nigerian tribe i'm from.
9. Have you ever seen the movie The Color Purple?
no lmaoo.
10. Do you have a lot of friends?
yes, but only a few good friends that i hang out with outside of camp/school etc.
