I sipped my coffee and looked at people driving by and some walking around going to their destinations. I thought this would be much more work but instead it's more relaxing than anything else. That Barbie I met a while ago still has something to say but I'm to grown for that and way to lazy to get into an argument with someone like her.

"You ditched me" Mya said as she walked up the steps to the café.

"I just wanted a break. Instead of meeting more of those people who I have no idea how they got here"

She smirked and sat in the seat across from me. "You talking about Maurice?"

"Who?" I asked being serious. I wasn't paying attention with those two boys and I wanted them to get out of my way, Especially the quiet one he's rude.

"The two guys. Zach and Maurice, I don't know what's your problem but they're hot"

I scoffed and rolled my eyes. "They're loud and do not belong here. What's a DJ supposed to do with an internship?"

"Well there's a lot more out there than just publishing faith, Besides they probably want friends that aren't stuck up and sophisticated"

I raised an eyebrow and she looked up at me.

"No I'm not saying you I'm just saying perhaps you could've been a little nicer"

"Maybe I could've but this isn't high school and I just got out of that so I refuse to be apart of this group who people hate because they don't take their future seriously, You may be apart of that but I won't"

She sighed and leaned in the seat. "My roommate is a snob" She mumbled.

"Excuse me?"

"Nothing at all"

I grabbed the key to my room and walked up the stairs tired from this whole day. So far I have either been drinking frappes from the café or walking around. I haven't once wrote in my novel and that's what I feel like doing.

As soon as I opened my room door I sat in my chair by the desk since Mya isn't home.

Life on campus isn't as all cracked up to be. No it's not dangerous and suspicious like as seen in lifetime movies and no it's not paradise where you meet a guy and make new friends as read in books.

I have to admit I have made one friend. Mya Simmons, She's nice but I honestly think she doesn't take anything seriously. Maybe she's still stuck in high school or maybe she just thinks this is her profession but it really isn't. I can't judge someone though especially because I think I can call her a true friend.

I rolled my eyes hearing someone knock on the door.

"Who is it?" I asked as I walked over to the door looking in the peep hole seeing those two guys from earlier.
