The two of you were in the middle of a conversation when you noticed something horrible. Your friend's breath was repulsive, and it smelled like a pile of garbage running on a treadmill and sweating up a storm. You couldn't believe her breath would be so bad. You immediately made a detour to the market in hopes of buying some mint gum for her to chew on.
You quickly lead your friend to a friendly vendor and asked for the breath freshener. You purchased it as fast as you could and shoved a piece into your best friend's. You started walking out of the market after say good-bye to the nice seller. You pulled out your phone to peek at the time. You still had enough time to stroll to the castle, and your worries ceased. You were about to start your journey again when a high-pitched whine caught your attention.
You pulled your friend along into the market again. Your good nature had forced you to help whoever was upset, but you didn't expect a certain pink hedgehog to be complaining to a accessory-store owner. The hammering heroine, Am Rose was holding an expensive-looking bracelet in her hands as she negotiated with the woman in the shop.
"You've gotta lower the price, at least for me!! C'mon!! I'm a loyal customer" she yelped. The female store owner shook her head and shrugged her shoulders. Amy let a small cry of sadness escape her lips, and she dropped the bracelet from her grasp.
She kept attempting to persuade her, talking about how she was only a few mobiums short. You decided that since she would soon be a teammate, you should make a good first impression. You walked to the store with (B/N) and stood beside the upset mobian. You glanced at the price tag on the bracelet, and listened to the teenager rage about only needing ten more mobiums, so you pulled out the correct bill and handed it to her.
"Here ya go," you stated as you shoved the money in front of the hedgehog's face. She took the money without looking at you, payed for the bracelet, grabbed the shopping bag given to her, and pulled on your arm. You latched your free arm onto your other companion as you were taken by Amy to the castle.
She stomped through the people around, still unaware that you were a complete strangers to her. The second the voices of the market softened, the female began to speak.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE SOME PEOPLE!!!!" Amy ranted. "SHE KNEW I WANTED IT FOR THE MEETING TODAY, SO SHE RAISED THE PRICE JUST TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK!!!! DON'T PEOPLE AROUND HERE KNOW THAT GIRLS LIKE ME DIE WITHOUT A GOOD ACCESSORY!!!" She let out a sigh before continuing her speech in a quieter tone of voice. "Thanks for helping me pay for it....uh."
She stopped stomping and stared at you with a confused expression planted on her face. You and your ally did the same thing, both of you unaware of what to do next. Amy released your arm and she took a few steps back. She examined both of you up and down thoroughly.
A few seconds of silence passed before the pink heroine asked, "Who are you?"
"Uh...I'm (Y/N) and this is my best friend (B/N). I'm the new recruit to the freedom fighter team," you explained.
Amy's eyes widened with shock, and a sudden shriek of happiness emitted from her throat as she pulled you into an air-tight bear-hug. All the oxygen was knocked out of you. You could feel your face turning into a dark shade of Sonic blue.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S YOU!!!!" Amy squealed in delight. She released her grip on you, and you stumbled to regain your balance. She ran over to your friend to copy her actions, as you took deep breaths into your lungs. She dropped (B/N) from her affectionate hold, and she gripped your shoulders.
She shook you back and forth while speaking, "THIS IS GREAT!!!!" She released you once again as she listed all the activities you could do together. "We can go shopping, talk about Sonic, go on missions for the kingdom, TALK ABOUT SONIC!!!!"
Amy started daydreaming about the speedy male. You ally gave you a confused look, and you gave her a slight shake of your head. You had heard about her hedgehog fetish, but you didn't expect it to be so severe.
Suddenly, your meeting came to mind. You glanced at the time once again. You would have to hustle to arrive at a decent time. You snapped your fingers in front of the love-sick female, and gained her attention.
"Amy, we have a meeting, remember?" you reminded. The female's happy face was washed with worry.
"Ah, you're right!!" Amy shrieked. She pulled the new, blue bracelet out of the shopping bag and slid it onto her wrist. You and your companion were pulled towards the castle, yet again. Amy ran with you as fast as she could and announced with enthusiasm, "Let's go!!"
