After another ten minutes of walking, you finally emerged from the cave's tunnel systems and arose into the basement of the HQ. The Noramer team of freedom fighters were packing up their belongings from the base, and preparing to head out to the parked Sky Patrol. You didn't bring anything along other than your coat and winter apparel so you decided to help Antoine carry his extra swords.
He ordered you politely to carry his scabbards in a precise way. You couldn't touch the bare blade since he didn't want any smudges. You weren't permitted to hold the blade without grasping it horizontally with both hands. Finally, if you dropped the sword in the snow, you would be forced to clean it, and prevent rusting from the snow. You compared his picky demands to your mother. She always wanted you to fold the laundry in a specific way.
You placed Antonio's weapons on a small table by the head quarters entrance. You began saying goodbye to the Arctic freedom fighter. You walked up to Sealia first. She gave you a back-breaking hug as she spoke goodbye in French. Her accent was hard to understand since you could only hear the painful pops of your spinal cord.
"We wish you ze best of luck on your adventure mon amie," she stated as she released her tight grasp.
You stumbled slightly before replying,"I'm gonna miss you guys. I hope we can meet again soon. "
Sealia nodded her head vigorously as Augustus stepped towards you. You had never spoken with the polar bear, but that was because he was a man of few words. He was much taller than you, about two times your height. He reached down towards you, and made a first with his right hand. You have him a fist palm back and a sweet smile before heading over to Flip.
He was finishing his goodbye with Bunnie as you strolled up. As Bunnie left, the penguin turned to you with an outstretched flipper. "Put 'er there, pal," The male stated with an innocent smile.
You had a slight tingle of disbelief in your guy, and you should have listen to the vibe. When you shook his hand, with received an electric shock. The shock was so strong that you could smell the burnt (M/T) around you. Flip was laughing on the ground in front of you. You placed your hands on your hips as you slowly shook your head. So much for a momentous goodbye.
"I'm gonna miss ya, (Y/N)," the male stated as he ceased his tears of joy. He pulled off his joy buzzer and placed it in your palm. "Keep it to remember me by."
You shook your head in agreement and said goodbye. Next was Erma, and you were contemplating on using the joy buzzer or not. She was sitting in a chair by the refrigerator, and she was busy pulling out an ice pack for her head. You lightly tapped her shoulder to gain her attention. You followed the move with an outstretched hand and a small smile.Erma grumbled as she gave you a rough shake. "Next time you see me, try to be less of a pain, " the Ermine said sarcastically.
You kept your sweet smile on your face as you replied, "The you might wanna stock up with Aspirin since that's never going to happened. "
You turned away from the female, but as you left you could hear a quiet profanity under her breath. You sent an audible insult in your native tongue. She didn't understand that you called her, but you weren't allowed to say those words out loud anyways.
Finally, you went to see Guntiver whom was speaking to Sally about leader stuff. As you approached, Sally placed an arm over you shoulder like a friend. The two if then welcomed you into the conversation kindly. The tall male ruffled you (H/T) playfully, and you giggled lightly.
"You're gonna have fun with these guys, (Y/N)," Gulliver said with a chuckle. "Of course, if their missions become to boring for you, feel free to come back."
"Trust me," Sally stated as she pulled a piece of your messy (H/T) out of your face, "there's always going to be adventure wherever we go."
The tree of you laughed together before saying goodbye. You grabbed the swords off the table, and you started walking out with Sally. The others were either gone, or finishing up their goodbyes. You turned to the Arctic Freedom Fighters once more, and you gave them a small wave. Most of them waved back, except for Augustus, whom smiled and nodded, and Erma. You hoped the other areas were filled with such friendly faces. You loved travelling, but the coldest region on Mobius wasn't your favorite vacation spot.
