There was no party at the Sky Patrol after you and the other freedom fighters arrived back home. Instead, the entire village held a terrific festival in your honor. Streamers and lanterns were hung all across the huts and buildings. Food was laid out on a long table for everyone. You reunited with the other three members who helped the village while you were away. It was obvious that Cream and Cheese helped with the decorations as little cut outs were hanging with the lanterns over the dirt streets.  There was a small band of natives creating music similar to their culture. Of course, Tails had given them a little boost by programming a light machine to occupy the empty sky with a colorful light show.

Everyone was dancing and having fun together throughout the night. You spent most of your time with the young rabbit and chao. It was fun to twirl around to the music and simply enjoy the relaxing moment. You showed the kids some moves from your own culture, and they taught you a thing or two about their own dance moves.

You weren't the only one dancing, of course. You caught sight of Sally and the other girls teach Nicole a few moves. The lynx had probably never had a dance party before, so it was sweet to watch her have fun. Big was dancing around in circles with some natives. The strong feline would toss young children into the air and catch them on the dance floor. The kids also took a liking to Big's beloved friend, Froggy. They would hold the amphibian in their arms and spin in circles with large smiles on their faces.

Even though so many people were having their own fun times with each other, Sonic would steal the show by amazing the audience with his breakdancing. The people of Mazuri had never seen dance moves like his, and neither had you. The people of Soumerca used dance moves with twirls and spins. The blue hero, however, used moves that didn't see possible. You were left wondering if the mobain body was even supposed to bend that way!!

After his show of amazing flexibility, Sonic walked over to you just as Cream and Cheese were leaving to teach Nicole a few more dance moves. You moved over to the food table to grab a drink of fruit punch. You turned to see the Blue Blur approaching you. You gave him a small wave, and he returned the gesture. He walked over to you as you sipped some punch and watched the village elder move onto the dance floor. Sonic grabbed a handful of pretzels from a bowl on the table then stood beside you. You were still watching the chief as he danced like a young man again. It made you giggle quietly, which then got Sonic laughing as well.

"Didn't think my moves would be 'one-upped,' especially by the chief," Sonic stated making you giggle once again.

"What can you do? The people of Mazuri are party animals," you joked. You and Sonic laughed once again.

A few seconds of silence passed between the two of you as you watched everyone else have fun. You, however, were out of the partying energy. You were now calm and collective, to exactly in the dancing mood anymore. Surprisingly, it appeared the hedgehog was the same. His eyes were half-closed with a soft smile and calm voice. He was probably tired from his breakdancing.

Your suspicions were right when Sonic said, "I'm kinda partied out. Wanna go on a walk with me for a bit?"

"A walk?" you questioned. "You really are tuckered out, huh?"

"Hey, I don't run all the time. Sometimes I just gotta relax. So, is that a yes or a no?"

The hedgehog opened his hand out to you, and you gladly accepted it. Sonic took your hand lightly as he walked you out of the village. You wondered if anybody had watched you leave the party. They may have looked at the two of you with curiosity; Why would you leave a party that was honoring you? As you looked back, no one appeared to be staring at the two of you. You turned back to the hedgehog, whom was still holding your hand gingerly. For some reason, it felt...
