You braced for the upcoming pain, but it didn't come. You were surprised when Sally slid in and blocked the fist with her energy blades. She blocked fist after fist, and then she aimed a kick at his head. Sadly, her attempt failed when Emerl predicted her attack, and he gripped her ankle. He flung her away, but she flipped in the air and landed on her feet.

You moved back to Rotor while Emerl was distracted. With three fighters down for the count, you needed to think of a plan before anyone else got hurt. Nicole was doing her best to control the machine, and you would see the robot's eyes flicker different colors.

Sally continued to fight the android: kicks, flips, and numerous attempts at slicing the robot in pieces were tried, but Emerl already knew what she had planned. You didn't think before rushing in to help. You pulled out your (W/C) and began attacking the machine. Sadly, the second he felt your weapon, Emerl's hands began changing and transformed into a copy of your weapon.

Your own fighting tactic was used against you, and you had no knowledge in fighting fire with fire. The android knocked you off your feet, but you used your hands to minimize the pain. For his next attack, Emerl switched to Sally's weapon, and he began stabbing at you while you laid on the ground. Luckily, you were able to roll out of the way each time, and Rotor rushed in. He tackled Emerl to the ground, and Sally pulled you up.

"This is nuts!!" you exclaimed as you grabbed your (W/C) off the floor.

"We need a plan," Sally stated. "The others won't be able to hold up their fighting distraction for much longer."

The princess was right. The other group had been fighting for quite a while. You would have to act fast in order to escape easily, otherwise there would be several guards on your tails as you carried three wounded fighters out of the base.

Suddenly, things became even worse as Nicole was shot out of Emerl's wires and circuitry at fifty miles an hour. She phased the hard wall, meaning that she was barely in control of her physical form. As she warped through the wall again, you could she Nicole's form shake and glitch.

"I....can't hold my....form much....longer," the lynx said.

"Thanks for helping, Nicole. Hurry back to the handheld before you fade," Sally said as she placed a hand on the hologram's shoulder. Nicole nodded her head, and flew into the mini computer.

Sally grasped the handheld device and placed it in her pocket. Rotor was barely holding off Emerl, so the two of you had to act fast. You wouldn't be able to get near the machine without being attacked, so you would have to do something unpredictable.

A sudden idea popped into mind. You whispered your idea in Sally's ear. Although her reaction wasn't very energetic, she had a gleam of approval in her eyes as she nodded her head. She dashed into the fight, and she took a powerful swing at Emerl. She was able to chop a bit if his head plate clean off, and the robot had a new target.

As the princess ran out of the room, you told Rotor to call for backup. He hesitated, but followed you plan. You rushed out of the room after Sally, and you sprinted down the stairs to the jail cells. You slipped down the last few steps, but you brushed off the mistake. After all, no one would know.

Sally was in your previous cell, but she was having trouble standing on her feet on that slippery floor. You pulled out your (W/C), and you used it to protect the both if you from Emerl's energy blade. You began backing up to the wall, directly below a large icicle that was dangling from the ceiling.

Emerl took out his (W/C), and he began attacking you once more. With one final blow, the android aimed for your head, but Sally pushed both of you out of his line of attack. The death robot smashed his weapon into the wall, causing vibrations to run to the ceiling. The large spear began swinging, but sadly, it didn't fall. You were paralyzed in shock; you were trapped in the corner of a cold cell with a death machine.

Sally wasn't going to quit. She chucked her energy blade at the icicle, and it was cut clean off the ceiling. The ice spear fell directly through the machine's open head, and it impaled though the other side: right between the robot's eyes. With a few sparks, Emerl fell to the icy ground, and his eyes flickered to black.
