You sat on the rug being watched by several button eyes. Amy had started yacking off about the love she shared with the hedgehog. You had your chin in your hand, trying not to fall asleep. Soon, your friend began hugging the stuffing out of a Sonic plushie as she jumped up and down in her seat. Excitement gleamed off her face, as she snapped out of her romantic memories of chasing the fastest thing alive.
"So, what do you wanna do!?!" she asked as she leaped off the bed and on the floor in front of you.
You responded in a simple shake of the head and shrug of the shoulders. The female whined at your answer. With drama she started walked around her, complaining about the "hang-out time" becoming boring. You started tapping your chin while in thought. Suddenly, a little light bulb popped over your head.
"Why don't we play 'Never Have I Ever?'" you suggested.
Amy turned away from a pile of make-up kits used for parties. "Never Have I What?" she asked with a confused voice.
"'Never Have I Ever,'" you corrected.
"You have all ten fingers up, and you take turns stating one thing you haven't done by starting with the words,'never have I ever.' If the other person has done it before, they put a finger down. The first person to drop all ten fingers loses," you explained.
"Sounds boring," Amy complained with a hand on her hip.
"It will help us learn about each other, though," you retorted with a smile.
"Fine, let's do it," the female surrendered, putting both of her hands in the air.
"Great!! I'll start," you stated holding your hands up above he ground. "Never have I ever, used a hammer in combat."
"HEY!!!" the fan-girl exclaimed while putting her thumb away. "You knew I would have to put a finger down!"
You shrugged your shoulders with a competitive smirk on your face. "You're up, Amy."
"Alright, never have I ever taken Eggman's glasses off his face," the heroine smirked with a sweet but devious grin. You slowly pulled your thumb down.
This means WAR!!
Immediately, the game became a fun battleground of war. Each of you slammed statements at each other and fingers flew down in a heart beat. In less than a minute, the two of you had only one finger left, and it was your turn.
"Never have I ever," you stated with a smile, knowing you had won, "Fought Eggman with the other freedom fighters."
Suddenly, Amy pointed her finger at you. "Yes, you have!"
You had a huge amount of confusion after her statement. "No, I haven't!"
"Yes, you have!"
"No, I haven't!"
"YES, YOU HAVE!!"
"NO, I HAVEN'T!!"
"YES, YOU..." Amy stopped herself, and started at you shocked. You didn't understand anything that was going on.
"Y-you're right," she stated as she slowly set her last finger down. She started rubbing her head, and you could see a sad smile on her face.
"Is everything alright?" You asked, concerned about your upset friend.
You didn't have any time to blink when you were engulfed in a giant hug. You froze for a few seconds before patting your friend's back. When she released, tears were threatening to flow out of her eyes.
She rubbed the salty water away from with her palm. "I'll be fine, I just need to leave for a quick second. Stay here, okay?"
You nodded your head as she left the room. Why was she so upset?
