Only a few more customers were in front of you. You could only imagine how Sonic's impatient personality would react. He would have an attitude for waiting, that's for sure. Soon, the purple duck in front of you paid for her meal, and you made your way to the register.

A small pup was working the machine. He looked a bit young to be a hired helper. A red bandanna clothed his neck, and several brown spot dotted his tan fur. All of this combined made you think he was pretty even with Cream the Rabbit on the Cutie Scale. The small boy was adorable, if fact, you heard (B/N) "aw" when she caught a glimpse of him.

"Aren't you just the cuddliest thing on the planet? What's your name?" she asked in an embarrassing baby voice.

"I'm not cute," the child retorted. "I'm the apprentice of Sir Charles, himself. My name is Ben Muttski, but I prefer Muttski."

"I'm (B/N), and this is (Y/N)," your friend introduced. "We need to place an order for Blue Boy."

"Oh man, I better go tell Charles. Sonic's kinda picky with what he likes. Hold on a second," Muttski informed.

The puppy jumped off the small stool he was on, and you watched him enter the back room. You didn't know that the Blue Blur was such a picky eater. You decided to open the paper from Antoine to see what Sonic wanted.

The entire sheet was filled with messy handwriting. Perhaps Sonic wrote so bad due to his fast fingers. The number was very large, too. That many chili dogs would probably end world hunger. After the large order was a list of do's and don't's. It listed the temperture for the hot dogs to we boiled in, to the milisecond how long the chili should cook for, and there was an order for the spices. Did all these requirements even effect the taste? You continued to scan the note, until your ally tapped on your shoulder.

Sir Charles was walking out of the kitchen with a notepad in his hand. The man had a lighter blue fur color than his nephew, and he possessed a large white mustache that matched his eyebrows. Charles also had blue eyes that seemed filled with curiosity. He placed the notebook on the counter, and the hedgehog smiled at you and (B/N).

"You two are here because of my nephew's appetite, right?" the man asked with a chuckle.

"Yep," you answered with a joyful grin on your face. "He even gave ya instructions."

You placed the note in the hedgehog's hand, butSir Charles didn't even glimpse at it. He crumpled the paper in a small ball, and he sent it through the air in a trash can behind him. "Haha, I know my nephew's tastes. I had the recipe memorized after making forty for him, and that was before he was a freedom fighter," Sir Charles explained with several laughs in the sentences.

He motioned to you and asked, "Say, aren't you the new recruit?"

"Yeah, I'm (Y/N), and this is my best friend, (B/N)," you introduced as you shook the adults hand. "It nice to meet you Sir Charles."

"You girls can call me Uncle Chuck," the hedgehog stated. "Everyone else does, and there's no need for high ranked titles."

"Tell my nephew that the chili dogs will be ready by tomorrow, and I expect him to deliver a few orders for me as payment when his foot is healed. You should also give Sonic a few chili dogs for today, otherwise he'll be begging you to come back later." Chuck said.

He handed you a basket of three chili dogs, and with a wave of good-bye, you left with chili dogs in hand and your friend beside you.
