Blood was coursing through your veins as you dodged the large mechanical hands trying to flatten you. With every flip and turn you performed, you would analyze you enemy for any weak points. You would use your weapon on the glass covering on the robot's head, but no scratches or cracks appeared on the surface. You assumed that is was hopeless to attack the robot's top, and without any other possible weak points to be seen, you looked below.
This was slightly harder to do, since you had to make sure Dr. Eggman wasn't trying to attack you while you were distracted. You also noticed that the building you were on was starting to crumble and shake under your feet. The shaking started to get worse and worse, until you were certain that one more robotic smack would cause the scaffolding to crumble below you.
You jumped off of the tall perch, landing on a small balcony about five feet below. With another daring leap of faith, you stuck the landing onto the ground. Just as you thought, the building was destroyed with the robots next hand slap. Luckily, the building was abandoned a long time ago, and was in terrible condition. Even better, the robot was thrown off balance, giving you time to search the bottom-half of the robot for flaws or weak areas. The robot had a cunning resemblance to your enemy, so there were many places to analyze. There wasn't any sign rusty or cracked metal anywhere, no loose bolts, absolutely no manufacturing flaws, and you were running out of time.
The robot was once again stable on his feet, and it looked as if no damage was made from its fall. The robot turned to look at you, and it decided to use a different tactic. Instead of using the hand attacks again, the robot was controlled to squish you under its feet. With the feet being as tall as you and their design being based off a fat man's large, repulsive-smelling feet, you estimated each weighed enough to break every bone in your body.
With a small yelp escaping your lips, you ran from under the shadows of the 273-sized foot. The thump the foot made was powerful enough to lift you a few feet away from where you stood, and you landed on the slightly-cracked concrete. You watched the robot lift its foot and reveal an enormous indent in the ground, going at least seven feet below the surface. The second foot started to lift off the ground, and you dashed out of the way once again. You were panting at this point, and you still had no way to damage the mechanism. You dodged the left foot again, but you were slightly slower when you ran. You were still close enough to be launched into the air when the robot stomped.
You were propelled high into the atmosphere, and you started descending at an alarming rate. You closed your eyes and braced for the impact of the concrete, but instead, the monstrosity grabbed you with its cold hands. You were squeezed tightly and it limited your movement. You restrained against the robots grasp, but you were only to release one of your hands. Using this hand, you tried to pry the metallic fingers from around your body, but it was no use.
The robot pulled you up to the Dr., and when you looked at him, it was obvious he had plans for you, plans that you weren't happy to hear. He opened the translucent hatch and stepped out of the robot's head to get closer to you. He reached over to you, and started examining your enraged face. Your face soon turned to disgust when he became close enough for you to smell his breath and be tickled by his repulsive mustache.
"I'll admit, I didn't expect anyone in the village to put up a fight. But you, you're different. Determined, strong, you will be very valuable to me as an Egg boss, don't you think?"
"How about we talk again after you get rid of that garlic breath of yours? I'm losing my sense of smell." You smirked. It felt great to make fun of the Doc, especially about his looks and hygiene.
"I'm not taking a liking to that attitude of yours. I'll have to take it away when you join the Egg Army. You'll probably be sent to...."
You stopped paying attention when the inside of the robot caught your attention. Inside were multiple buttons, some were labeled and some didn't, but one button caught your attention. A large button was placed next to where the doctor used to sit, meaning it probably had high importance. It was blinking red, and though it was far away, it appeared to be labeled, "self-destruct." Why did Eggman have a button like that on his robot? You didn't know, but you became very happy for his stupidity. It was far from your reach, but with the hatch still open and the two robot henchmen busy with their own control boards, you assumed you could hit the button with any flung object. Sadly, you had only one free hand and nothing to throw.
"Are you listening to me, (M/T)!!!! There is nothing you can do now,!! You've lost!!!"
You looked at him straight into his tinted glasses, but you couldn't see his eyes staring back, only your reflection in his lenses. Your reflection looked slightly scared, but as you gazed at your mirrored-face more, the reflection became more determined. Your scenario might have seemed hopeless, but you weren't going to admit defeat. In fact, the Doctor had let you win.
"It's rude to speak without eye contact you know." You quickly grabbed his glasses from his huge, pink nose. You pulled your hand back behind you head, and started to aim. "Those glasses of yours have to go."
You chucked the glasses from your hand towards the button, and started crossing your fingers. Everything seemed to go in slow motion. The glasses, the screams from Eggman, and the futile attempts to catch the glasses from the two small robots. You were crossing the fingers on your free hand, silently hoping for your aim to be correct. Your eyes were closed tightly, not wanting to see the outcome of your toss, but you willed yourself to take a look. A gigantic frown was placed on your face.
The yellow robot caught the glasses right before they hit the button. "Whew, that was close. I thought the machine was going to explode," the comedic, robotic voice stated. The robot sighed in relief and rested his elbow behind him, pressing the glowing button in the process. It seemed like this machine had his bolts screwed on too tight.
An angry scream of disbelief was heard from your captor, and a robotic voice announced, "Self-destruct engaged. Self-destruct in T-minus ten seconds, nine, eight,..."
The robot released you from its clutches and you fell onto the ground. You fell onto your feet with grace ran to a safe place from the explosive weapon, and looked up at Eggman. He was flying in his Egg Mobile with his robots, and the mechanical beast was still counting down. You could still hear the Doc yell at his robots, saying that they never should have been created.
"Three, two, one." With that, the robot exploded into small circuits and metal plate. The robot's explosion had damaged a few buildings, but the town had been evacuated, so no one was harmed. With a few more pants, you sat on the ground with exhaustion.
Some robot pieces were still falling down, but they were too small to do damage to you. As the pieces fell, a particular one fell right in front of you. It was a beautiful shade a purple, and it emitted a relaxing glow. You grasped it in your hand, and you analyzed it carefully. Feeling quite proud of yourself, you walked to the outskirts of the village to the people, clasping a well-known purple Chaos Emerald in your hand.
