When First Love Ends

You sniffed and wiped your tears away, Kise's thumb brushed against your cheek as he pressed your lips against yours.

Holding on to his jacket you kissed him back, as you both sepeated the bell rang signalling it was time for the train to depart

"I'll see you next year?" Kise smiled as his hand cupped your cheek, smiling sadly at you

"Yeah..." You gave him one last smile before walking into the train and went to your seat, waving goodbye

Cold wind brushed on your cheek making you shiver, mentally slapping yourself at your own stupidity. You blew on your hands and rubbed them together for any spark of warmth

You stopped walking and glanced up, it was late afternoon, snow that fell were everywhere, the soft glow of the lights and the setting sun made the scene perfect.

The hues of blue, grey, orange and pink. And the leafless trees twinkled perfectly at the sight

"I should've really confessed to him back then huh" You shifted your scarf and smiled sadly at the beautiful sight

"I was so stupid... No matter, I can't go back anymore..." You shook you head and crossed the street.

You continued to make you way so the station, letting out a shaky sigh along the way. For a moment you held out your hand as snow slowly fell on your palm and melted while you continued walking.

"Just like that one chance I got.." You murmured

Soon enough you reached your destination, you stood and waited for the train to come when a happy couple nearby started talking

"It's the first snow!" The male grinned making the female with him smile and nudge him

A sad smile crept on your lips

'That could have been us... Maybe... It's not too late?' You thought then you shook your head

"I don't know if I should even let go.." You shifted your shoulder bag and sighed

Once you got home, you changed your clothes and laid on your bed. Tears prickled your (e/c) eyes

"If I wasn't a coward then maybe... Maybe it would have happened" You laid on your side and wiped the tears on your face

"I was so stupid... To tell him to find happiness there.." You rubbed your eyes trying to stop the tears from falling down

"Maybe it was just meant to be a bittersweet love.." You took out your phone and opened the messaging app

"If I retun next year... I hope we can be the same :)" Then you pressed send despite the tears on your face

What you didn't know on the other side was a blonde with a heavy heart regretting he let you go but let's all save that for another story to tell
