*Disclaimer: I do not own any of the HP characters they all belong to the amazing J.K. Rowling. I only own Delilah and her family and some of her friends.
Also, I would really appreciate it if someone made me a trailer that would be awesome. I'm currently trying, key word trying, to make one but I suck at it... It would mean so much if you could help me out! Thanks
Also.... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING THIS! 1K reads is absolutely amazing! So again thank you so much.
----------------------------------------------Have you ever felt different? Different from the rest of the word. That's how I feel every single day of my life. Ever since I was born weird things have been happening. My mother locks me in my room everyday to make sure no one sees the abnormalities that occur near me.
One day, when I was just a baby, the first signs of something out of the ordinary happened. I was only a couple months old and didn't know the difference of wrong and right.
My mother, being busy doing her work at home, left me alone one day in the kitchen. I was starving and no matter how loud I cried, nobody came to take care of my needs. I started getting angry and frustrated that nobody came to assist me. Finally, with lots of concentration, I watched my mothers spaghetti fly out of the fridge and come towards me. I was delighted when the food sat down in front of me making a loud clatter and the noodles come flying out onto my face.
After ten minutes of eating the cold spaghetti, my tired mother finally came out of her office. She walked by me without noticing the smeared spaghetti sauce and noodles all over my face, walking straight to the fridge. As she looked for something, I grabbed the bowl of spaghetti and put it on my head only to hear my mother complaining about not finding her lunch.
When she turned around to look at me, all that was heard was a loud scream. My mother walked towards me and quickly removed the bowl off of my head. She took me out of my high chair and quickly rushed me to the bathroom. As she started the water in the bathtub, she removed the noodles off of my face and head and threw them out.
I giggled as she turned around and looked at me with a questioning look on her face. Before she even got the chance to question what happened, the doorbell rang. She gave me one last look before shaking her head and quickly left the bathroom with the water still running.
When she came back, she looked happy and quickly put me into the bathtub. As she washed away all the disgusting sauce, she was telling me stories about my father. She had a distant look in her eyes, that let me know that she loved my father even though he left us when she told him she was pregnant. I may have been a baby, but I knew that my mother missed him.
After awhile I stopped paying attention to my mothers stories about my father. As I looked around the bathroom I noticed my yellow rubber duck. I wanted it but it was too far away and since I was only a baby, I couldn't tell my mother what I wanted. Again I concentrated on only the duck and watched as it started floating towards me.
My mother stopped talking long enough to look at me and see that my focus was elsewhere. She turned around and saw that I was watching my duck. Her eyes became boulders as she saw that it was floating and coming closer and closer to me. She freaked out and quickly took me out of the bathtub and hugged me close to her.
As soon as my view was blocked by her shoulder, the duck fell to the ground. My mother grabbed a towel and quickly walked into my nursery room. She closed the door and dried me off quickly. She grabbed my favorite onesie and slipped me into it.
Without hesitating, she grabbed my diaper bag and packed some clothes into it. Quickly picking me up, she grabbed the bag and walked into her room. She was rushing to get out of the house I could tell. As time went on, my mother kept rushing to pack some essentials and we left our tiny flat.
As soon as we were out the door, we were in the car driving down the highway. I sat in the backseat looking at the car ceiling until my eyes felt droopy and I fell asleep.
