Letters To The Dead

Dear Fred and Delilah,

Everyone here at the Burrow misses you two. Especially me...

I lost my twin brother and my best friend on the same day.

It's been really hard these past few weeks with you guys gone. You both put smiles on everyone's faces...

Mom has taken your deaths worse than me however. She stays in her room and locks herself in there. When she comes out, she walks around the house like a zombie and just looks at us.

When she sees me, she starts crying and locks herself in her room again.

Weasley Wizard Wheezes is still going strong. Ron took over your place Fred, and Hermione is helping take over Delilah's place. It's not the same though...

The first few days were the worst. Did you guys know that you were going to have a baby? Delilah, you were pregnant... The baby however died with you guys.

Moving on from this sad stuff, I'm trying to be happy again. I'm trying my hardest since I know both of you would want that for everybody.

The other day, I took Hadley out on a date. I proposed and she said yes! Can you believe it?

When we have kids, we have decided to have three. We want a son and two daughters. We already picked out names... Fred ll is going to be our sons name. Delilah ll will be one of our daughters names and Roxanne is the final name we chose. I know we are probably rushing, but we just can't wait!

Either way, everyone misses you guys.

Dear Fred and Delilah,

I'm sorry I never showed up to your wedding. I'm the worst older brother in the entire world!

I just got back into the family and then I lose someone so important. Delilah I know I've never really met you, but I hope you're keeping Fred out of trouble in heaven.

On second thought, never mind. I've heard some of your stories from George and I can't believe some of the pranks you guys pulled off!

At the time, I would've been very disappointed but now, I'm proud of what you two achieved.

I wish I would've been around more...

I miss seeing your smiling face Fred. I also miss seeing you light up whenever you talked about Delilah. Someday, I'll see you guys again. We can have a proper greeting then.
